He stared down at the information fill-out sheet and bit down on his lower lip. He had just moved to North America a few months ago from South Korea. Everything was different from South Korea, right down to the obvious food and cultural difference, but to the smaller differences like public transportation. "Confused, huh?" a girl asked him. She moved to the seat next to him with the same information fill-out sheet, like him and a large friendly smile plastered on her face. It took him a second to realise that she was speaking Korean to him. "Yeah." He slightly pouted. She took his information sheet, "Your name?" He stared at her for s second. "Lee Taeyong." She nodded and wrote it down in English. "Your birthday?"

"July 1, 1995" She nodded. They continued to fill out his information sheet. "Ah, I forgot to tell you my name." She smiled sweetly after they had finished filling out the sheet and turned them in. "It's L/N Y/N." He nodded slightly. The pair had gotten their schedules quickly. "Y/N!" She spun her head to face who called her name to be greeted with a six-foot boy with messy blonde-ish hair and big brown eyes. "Lucas!" She smiled and gave the boy a tight hug. "I didn't know that you'd be transferring so quickly." Lucas smiled, showing off his pearly white teeth. "Yeah me either." Taeyong cleared his throat to remind the two that he was still there. "Lucas, this is Taeyong. Taeyong this is my greatest friend in the world, Wong Lucas." Lucas gave a small bow then extended his hand to Taeyong for him to shake. "Nice to meet you!" Lucas had said in Chinese, but Y/N translated it quickly into Korean. "Lucas, speak in Korean for the poor boy's sake." Y/N had muttered in Chinese. Lucas gave Taeyong a weak smile. "Sorry," Lucas muttered something to Y/N and they left. The two of them muttering small goodbyes to Taeyong.

"You're staring." A young boy whispered to Taeyong. He spun around to see a boy about the size of a child standing next to him. The child spoke in Korean. "I'm sorry?" He asked. The boy looked up at him. The boy smiled. "I said. You're staring at the new girl and Lucas." Taeyong nodded. "I'm Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul. Everyone calls me Ten because my name is like impossible to pronounce." Taeyong laughed slightly. He saw that Y/N had walked down a corridor and disappeared. "You're new here, yeah?" Taeyong nodded as Ten snatched his schedule from his grasp. "Come on. I'll take you to your first class." Ten ran ahead only motioning to Taeyong for him to follow. That's how the day went. Ten pulling him from one class to the next. The two boys had lunch together and Ten dragged Taeyong to his last class. Ten introduced him to the teacher and had him sit next to a girl. "Taeyong!" The girl exclaimed. He whipped his head to see Y/N sitting next to him. He sheepishly smiled and waved. She smiled widely and said, "I guess I'll help you with this class." He sheepishly nodded. Taeyong preceded to take out his notebook and listened to everything Y/N said, as she translated the lesson for him.

Class had ended quite quickly and Taeyong let out a sigh of relief. "Stressful first day, huh?" Y/N said with a small smile plastered to her face. "You could say that." He chuckled. Someone had yelled something at the two, he just looked at Y/N, who looked like she was going to rip their head off. "She just yelled at you two to speak in English because we're in America." Ten said, startling Taeyong. "Ten! You scared me half to death!" Ten laughed and watched the scene that was to unfold. "What's happening?" Ten smiled and explained. "Well, after that bitch said that Y/N said 'Really?' the girl laughed and just said 'yeah.' Y/N just huffed and said 'Did you just tell me to speak in English? And did you just tell him to speak in English? The one person here who can't?' the girl just said yeah again. 'How about you use the millions of wasted brain cells that you have and learn a second language.' The girl just scoffed. 'How about you do that?' That was really a lame comeback. 'Honey, I know three languages and one dialect. You're telling me to learn another language? Are you that stupid? I can't believe you and I are the same species.' Y/N just shook her head. The girl doesn't know what to say. 'You can't think of something to say back? Pathetic.'" With that Y/N sat down and Ten stopped.
