Now I don't know shit about August Alsina but my friend Lucky loved that nigga to death. She plays his damn CD all the time either in the car or if we chilling at her crib. I actually don't see what the hype is about but like I said before, Lucky loved pretty niggas with tattoos.
Anyway, one of his songs were playing now as you would expect, don't get me to lying, I don't which one it was. They all sound the same to me but Lucky was bopping her head like he was singing the Holy Gospel. Cass was even in the backseat singing the hook to whatever song was playing. I was back in dream world thinking about McCutie.
"What did Mo mean when he said those dudes were dangerous?" I asked recalling the conversation all of a sudden.
Lucky was so into the song she was singing, she didn't hear me at first. I repeated again and got the same result. So I turned down the volume, and repeated it a third time.
Lucky looked like I just took her off of life support.
"Why you do that for?" Lucky inquired.
"I asked you a question," I said.
"I don't know why Mo pudgy ass said that shit," Lucky remarked. "Ask him."
Lucky turned back up the volume and went back into her zone. Cass tapped me on the shoulder and leaned closer to the back of my seat.
"I heard of that dude Maine before," Cass said. "Works for that Willow family. You know that brother and sister squad that took over the other side of town. Bad Luck Chuck they call the leader and his sister is just as vicious. They call that chick Boss Mama. Anyway that I heard that nigga Maine puts in serious work for them but he's just a trigger happy type dude. Not much on the brains side."
Lucky's type.
"Word, he's really a killer like that?" I didn't pick up on that vibe. Like I said I've been with real street niggas, real heavy in the game niggas and Maine didn't pass me as one of those types. A knucklehead, yes. A gun toting lunatic, yes. But nothing more. Now McCutie, he looked like the real deal. He looked like the smart but could be ruthless type. The way he handled the situation was like a boss move. He was the type I could see in the game handling business.
"Yeah, but he's more of a douljah type nigga," Cass added. "I don't see him making any real moves unless he's being told to."
"Agreed," I nodded.
Lucky must have finished listening to her song because she turned down the volume and started paying attention to Cass and me.
"What you two heifers talking about?" Lucky asked.
"That dude Maine," Cass said. "I was telling Bitty he works for the Willows family."
"Willows...Willows," Lucky said the name like she was trying to get a visual of the people Cass was talking about. "Oh, yeah, that brother and sister duo. Both those niggas can gang bang me. The brother is fine as hell and the sister...whew, the sister makes my nipples hard. I can see myself burying my face in her kitty cat all day."
"Agreed," Cass co-signed.
I was disgusted again.
"Can't y'all two talk about anything but sex?" I asked.
"Um, we could but that conversation would be boring," Lucky replied. "Besides I like talking about things that get my panties wet."
"Me too," Cass co-signed again.
I just shook my head.
"So are we heading to my crib to light this up or what?" Lucky asked changing subjects.
