It was Friday. A day that everyone in school loved. It meant sleeping until 10 the next morning and staying up until 12. Everyone liked it. The Ninja always did something together on Friday. And since Lloyd was part of that group now, they wanted to invite him.

When they had talked, they realized, they knew nothing of Lloyd. Nothing but his name and his father, which he hated to talk about. So it was sleepover time with games, movies, Popcorn and much more.

"Hey Lloyd" Kai said, approaching the blonde teenager. He was standing by his locker, gathering everything he needed for the last lesson of the week: Math. Kai himself hated it, but Lloyd seemed to be pretty good in it.

"Hey Kai" Lloyd answered, closing his locker. He smiled a little, and that was rare for him. The brunet was happy, when he did. Lloyd always looked so sad but always brushed it aside like it was nothing.

"Since you're part of our group now, we wanted to invite you to our Friday night celebration. We always do it. Watching Movies, Popcorn. Stuff like that."

Lloyd's little smile instantly vanished and he looked away, avoiding eye contact.

"I don't think that's a good idea. I'm not the party type you know?" his voice quiet and downcast.

"We'll take it slow don't worry. You just say that because you don't know how that is. Please just try it. You can always leave if you want" Kai begged. The kid needed to come out of his dark hole of depression and live some.

"Okay, I'll come" he agreed.

"Great! I'll see you at my place at seven then" and with that he left the blonde with his thoughts. He never went to a sleepover before. He didn't know how to act there. But he would find out tonight and it would be a disaster.

The rest of the day, Lloyd thought about everything he would need. He would need a big bag.

When he went home his mother was already home.

"Hey mom" he greeted, earning a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey Sweety. How was your day?" Koko asked.

"Great actually. I'll be staying with some friends for the night. Is that okay?" he asked, hesitantly.

Instantly his mother nodded. She ha never heard those words from her son before. Not once.

"Then I'll go grab some stuff" he went to his room, taking everything he needed.

"Bye Mom" he yelled, leaving the house. Kai said they would meet at his house and it wasn't far from his own apartment.

Taking a deep breath, he knocked on the door, only to be met with Nyas face, when she opened it. She smiled at him and let him in.

"And I thought Kai was lying about you coming" she snickered.

"Why's  that?" he raised an eyebrow. Did she not want him there? Should he leave?

"Well" she begun, walking into the living room while talking "don't get me wrong. It's great that you came but I almost thought that you were going to say no and stay home. It seems to be something you would do. I know you like to be alone" she explained.

Oh right. He had told her once that he liked to be alone. He was an outsider so he knew nothing else but being alone in his room for the weekend.

The others were already there, sitting on the couch or on the ground in front of the TV. When they noticed him, they smiled.

"I told you he would come" Kai grinned. Lloyd sat down beside him, looking confused.

"Why do you make it sound like you bet on me?" Lloyd asked.
