it started to rain, then the thunder came. gee woke up to raindrops hitting the water and brendon was holding him in his sleep. he shook brendon to wake him. "bren wake up, it's raining." bren opened one eye then groaned 'is it really raining? god damnit, come on i gotta get you h-' gee panicked. "no! i mean, uh no it's ok. You know it's almost thanks giving break maybe we can skip tommrow, and leave for a few days?" brendon was honestly shocked. 'where would we go?' gee thought for a minute. "what about, maine?" brendon smiled 'that sounds crazy and i love it'

wednesday 4:40 a.m
"what about your siblings? won't they be upset?" bren shook his head no 'they think i need to get out of the house more and thanksgivings not that big for us anyways. what about mikes and your mom?' gee thought for a moment the replied "my mom's on a business trip and mikey's always complaining about not having privacy so, it'll be fine."
they were in the car since it was now pouring. "what about that girl we told we'd show around yesterday? shouldn't we let her know we're leaving?" brendon had to think about who he was talking about before realizing 'holy shit hayley, i'll call her.' he dialed the number she gave him earlier hoping she'd still be awake. she answered and, she didn't sound like she did earlier. 'h-hello?' her voice was shaky 'whos this?' 'it's brendon, are you ok? you sound like you've been crying.' she took a minute then said 'yeah aha, I just got into a-a small fight with, my dad.' brendon felt there was more to it so he said 'is everything ok now?' she paused again before saying 'not really but, it'll be fine. why'd you call by the way?' he told her about how him and gee would be leaving for thanks giving break and how they wouldn't be there tommrow and she replied 'oh that's pretty cool, have fun guys! i gotta go but i'll talk to you later, let me know when you guys get to a motel or something so I know you're safe!' brendon smiled and said 'ok! call me if anything happens because I can talk you through anything. bye hayley.' and with that she hung up. the boys were so happy for this trip.
gee had butterflys in his stomach and brendon's head felt like a bee hive.
