Reporter Leah Debbie updates New York on the mysterious stone creatures that are dispersed around the city. Standing to the side of a picture of one of Killstone's minions, tablet in hand. "The stone beings are scattered all over New York, and for the time being, they are showing no signs of movement." A variety of pictures are shown. "Police have cordoned off the area."

Jim is on television alongside Casper White. "We won't stop until we find a way to get these people back to their normal selves, but for now, we're not making much headway."

Camera flips backs to Leah standing next to a photo of Hound Dog and Furret. "New York is relying on our new guardian angels, Hound Dog and Furret, to save us all. Our lives depend on them."

Milo is standing next to his father, watching the TV while he washes dishes. Milo's dad turns around and puts a hand on Milo's shoulder.

"Listen, I know how upsetting and scary this is, but don't worry, Miles; we've got two superheroes looking out for New York, and the best way of helping them is to show them that we're not scared, because we trust them." He raises a fist and scrunches face with confidence and faith.

"But what if Hound Dog fails?" Milo looks down in shame.

"Then I'd come and save you." His dad holds piece of bread as a sword. "Baker Fantastico to the rescue!"

Milo chuckles and reaches up to give his father a peck on the cheek. "Thanks, Fantastico!" He runs up to his room and grabs his backpack, pausing for a moment to look at his nightstand drawer where he keeps his Miraculous. He opens the drawer and contemplates the case the Miraculous is in. Then, he places the case in his bag with certainty.

At NYC high, Milo and Dylan are having a discussion about the Hound Blog. "The Hound Blog," Dylan hands Milo his phone, "bringing you all the latest news about the coolest superhero, Hound Dog! How awesome is that?!" Dylan takes his phone back. "Check out the number of views since I posted a video!"

"But why do you trust Hound Dog so much? All these stone beings..."

"Chillax, dude. He's gonna handle them." He says this with assurance.

"But what if he's not really cut out to be a superhero even though everyone thinks he is?" Milo asks.

"What are you talking about, dude? Oh, wait." Dylan comes to a realization. "I know what this is about." Milo is flustered and scared of what Dylan is about to say. "You're scared, but don't be! I've seen it with my own two eyes, dude! Hound Dog is a true superhero! He's going to protect us all! I believe in him." Milo looks down at his bag and is filled with confidence! As he walks with Dylan, he notices a group gathered around Max.

Sam is speaking to Max. "So you really don't remember anything?"

Jayde adds, "you were totally going ballistic. It was so cool!"

Ethan throws his hands up. "You were seriously out to crush me, Maxie!"

Max flushes. "Oh, I'm sorry... I wasn't myself..."

Ashley scoffs at Max. "Once a monster, always a monster." Max becomes furious and marches away as Ashley continues to make fun of him. "Don't let the door hit you on the way out!"
