Btw all of these are going to be told from your perspective unless told otherwise (:

  Imagine - Target Ashton

I pulled into the store's parking lot letting out a deep sigh. It was one of those days when Ive had enough, the only thing I wanted to do was cuddle into my bed in a little ball, and sleep. Sleep to forget the world, and everything that ever happened in it. I was extremely irritable, I had just spent six hours answering phones and filling out paper work. I'm a secretary at a doctors office, and let me tell you, that job doesn't pay enough for the things I go through. My boss is always on my ass claiming I don't do anything right, my coworkers do nothing but mock me. I'm young, they think I have no capability to do things. I'm lucky even getting that damn job being as young as I am. A family friend works there as well and put in a good word. The job's a pain in the ass, but I need the money. On top of my angry boss and ignorant coworkers, I have my period. Just great, right?

Speaking of periods, my crapms were absolutely rediculous at the moment.  I needed something for it, and I don't think I had any painkillers left back at home. Maybe I'll get a little more, maybe I'll have a movie night or something tonight.

I strolled into the store looking around, trying to find the medicine aisle. I rarely ever come in here, but when I do I get lost.  I took a left and went down a bit and was in the clothes section. Boom. Lost. So, I continue my search and go to the back of the store to look. Once I get to the back corner I find myself in the electronics, movies, and CD's section. While I'm here I might as well get something to do tonight. Its Wednesday, I'm tired, and my body just decided to make my damn uterus feel like it was going to fall out. There's no way I'm going out.

I look around a bit, not sure on what to get until I stride over to the CD's. I'm always looking for new music, to see if I like it but I'm in no way a person that listens to pop or rap. I like the pop punk or pop rock kind of scene.

"Do you need any help miss?" A man's voice rings in my ears. To say I was surprised by his accent was an understatement, but I  didn't bother to look up at him.

"Just looking. No one ever really sells the good stuff anymore."  I reply.

"What do you listen to?" He's quite the talker.

"Anything from All Time Low to Attila.  My tastes vary but its pretty much anything that happens to be "not cool" or "emo" to society." I said putting air quotes around the words.

" I see you have great music tastes. I listen to the same things." Never in this small town have I ever heard someone say they like the same music I do. I finally looked up at him, and my god he was something.

His eyes are like a hazel brown color, and his hair, oh my god his hair. Its toussled everywhere, like a bed head but it looks great on him. He's actually really cute. And to think I wasn't even going to give him the time of day.

"I can tell. I like your bracelet....Ashley?" Wrapped around his wrist was a band bracelet, Green Day to be exact. I couldn't help but giggle at his name. He looked so manly, the name didn't suit him. He chuckled at me.

"Oh, that's not my name." He started to giggle. "I'm new here and that's the closest thing they had to my name. I'm Ashton. And you are...?" The sentence drifted off.

"(Y/N)." I said smiling. I really think I could get used to talking to this Ashton kid.

"Well, (Y/N), I'm off work in about five minutes, wanna stick around and we can talk or something?" I didn't really think he would ask me to talk, or anything. I thought he was just being friendly to his customers.

"Sure, um yeah definitely." There goes the awkward side of me, way to go (Y/N).

"Cool, meet me in the front?"

And so, I waited for  a few minutes, while I was waiting I went ahead and paid for a movie and a few snack things for when I got home. But the thing is, I got home really late. He met me in the front and he took me to his car, and we drove around and talked for five hours straight. He told me he was from Australia, and he had a small band coming together on the side and he was making extra money to support his family by working here. He's 18 and lives not too far from where I do. Weird that I've never met him before.

Later, he drove me back to Target so I could get my car.

"Well, will I ever see you again?" He asks, as I reach for the door handle.

"Definitely. I think you're really cool, Ashley." I say jokingly.

He giggles at me.

"See ya, (Y/N)." He says and reaches for my wrist. I was confused at first but he pulled me in for a hug. I instantly reacted and wrapped my arms around him the best I could sitting in the seat of the car. We pulled away, and I gave him one last smile before opening the door and walking to my car.

My smile never left my face the whole way home, but there was one thing that was bugging me.

I forgot my damn pain killers.
