The hospital had only held Akiko for a week. Akiko had no family visit them, only friends. They had one surgery three days in for something with their spine. On the last day once they had checked out, they had to wait for their friend to come and pick them up. In the waiting room Akiko nervously moved their wheelchair back and forth in a comforting rocking motion. Aaron and Damian stood by the doors to watch for Akiko's friend. They would sometimes lean in toward each other and say something, but mainly stayed quiet. B stood by Akiko's wheelchair and kept trying to cheer them up. Nile sat in one of the waiting room chairs and looked through the papers. There was a yell and the sound of someone falling. Akiko and B looked over to see that Aaron had tackled Damian and was trying to slit his throat with his knife. B ran over to them and tried to take Aaron's knife and pull him off of Damian. Aaron was glitching more than he normally did. "You're so weak, Damian! You weren't even able to tell me that!" Tell you what? Akiko thought at them.  "Does it really matter, Aaron?" "Yes!" "Well I didn't know that you cared so much." "You didn't even bother to ask me!" Damian tried to sit up and Aaron was calm enough to let him. "Well then, I apologize." Damian touched Aaron's arm and took away his knife. The doors to the waiting room slid open and Akiko's friend walked in. "Akiko!" Logan ran over and hugged them gently. "Ready to go?" "Yeah." Akiko started to wheel their chair out of the room, but their friend grabbed the handles and pushed Akiko to the car.
