With her absence, the whole class was perplexed. After all, she made quite an appearance on the first day, and she completely skipped the class. The teacher was furious, but Irene didn't care amply enough about Wendy's disappearance. The only thought that crossed her mind is "weird", but she carried on with her day. Wendy had been in her car for the last 15 minutes of the lecture to seek out Irene, and the petite-girl finally making her way out of the school's main gate. A few guys try to talk to her, but she either ignores them or turns them off cold-heartedly.

"Yuck." Wendy thought, "Beautiful but cold." she smacked her lips as she smirked when Irene opened a car's door. Irene's vehicle was a deep purple, rather an uncommon color for cars, and Wendy was utterly entertained. The hazelnut-eye girl quickly turns her wheel to slickly follow the purple car after it moved. Because she didn't want to be obvious, Wendy only followed her through three intersections, then turn into a different road.

On the way, Wendy got a sudden call from Taeyeon, "Here's some extra information Yeri send me.", she apprised.

"Yeri could've just sent it to me. You're taking quite an extra effort, boss." Wendy sputtering snicker.

"It's short," Taeyeon whiffed in annoyance, "She's in an agency, almost, or if we can call it that. More like the mafia?"

"Are you serious with me right now?" Wendy laughed out loud as she continues to drive, turning her steering wheel constantly, "Irene Bae?"

"Yes, it's a private agency, for personal issues missions if you want it that way. We couldn't track down the name yet, but it's not legal nor illegal."

"Urk, why do these businesses even exist?" Wendy chuckled extensively, "And so? Do you mean she's bad, or up to no good?"

"Possibly," Taeyeon answered bluntly.

"All right, I mean she went up to the rooftop in the damn university today for some reason. I was too late to catch her doing anything." Wendy reported, her eyes dazing off to the busy road she always enjoyed.

"Don't rush yourself, it's a long-term mission."

"Yes, boss." Wendy laughed and they ended the call.

Even though their relationship is boss and employee, they've been closer than that. Taeyeon is like her older sister, and Wendy simply ended up as an employee because she didn't want a busy life like Taeyeon where you have to deal with stupid problems during missions. So even though Wendy didn't do that many missions, almost everyone recognizes her deadly ability.

Wendy went home, and continue reading random documents and books, along with calling Seulgi and Moonbyul to just talk about their mission. It was past midnight when she felt like she needs something to eat, and she got to go to the convenience store near her house. The street lights were whirring with bright light, and a few drunk guys were slacking around on the road. She drifty walked to the store, taking her time to get some noodles and a couple of drinks which include alcohol. Wendy busted a light beer to drink while jogging home until she noticed a fast motorcycle passing by, causing a loud engine-noise that pierced her eardrums.

Two girls were on the vehicle, one driving with a mask covering her mouth and a helmet. The other didn't wear a headgear, but her lower face was covered up. Her eyes look inexplicably mesmerizing and so familiar. The coffee-black color shook Wendy up as she gazed at the vehicle riding on the other street, and realized it was IB.

"Taeyeon proved her point." she deemed and walk in the path the motorcycle just roamed through. The engine smell was new, and the wheel print was fresh on the wet street. Following them would be dangerous, she thought and the two-colored hair girl breathed heavily. She tried to dig up her memory about the vehicle as she shuffles home, and she can remember a long, deep line thrashed into the side of the motorcycle, and it was a YS-750. Wendy went home, tumbled the bag and finished her beer.

She thought this would be just a simple mission where she needs to bust some identities, but this wasn't it. IB is way more obscure than she thought, and she was sure one of the girls she saw was Irene Bae.

She's involved in midnight business, too?
