Klaus: Hahaha yes Nicholas I am your father, And I chose you for a very specific reason.

I wanted my daughter to always have her own werewolf army, but then I realized I don't want her to have just an army I want her to have a friend, a brother who she can count on. I asked a witch to find me a young boy with a werewolf gene specifically an orphan. Long story short I gave you your sister's blood that turns you into a hybrid , and compelled you to forget all about it until I say so. I also compelled that vampire and that amateur vampire huntress to kill you and make you feed.

Nicholas: Hahahaha well that explains a lot but you might wanna just lay off the whole compulsion thing for a while I don't think anyone likes their mind getting messed with; Also father sorry for asking this, but why did u choose me if her father is the strongest and fastest hybrid ever?
Klaus: Well I'll try to not fry your brain my son , now I chose you because I can't be near her at all. An old evil spirit named The Hollow tried to possess my daughter's body back in New Orleans , so me and my three siblings did a ritual to insert The Hollow's bones into our bodies so that it can leave her alone, but the catch was that we had to separate from each other. I can't be near Hope or, my other siblings, because The Hollow would try to reach her thru us. That is why I need you in my team my son.
He sounded very serious so I just stood there and thought about it for a second. I know I'm a hybrid but I'll just can't live with my self if I failed trying to protect her. I just smiled at him and hugged him tightly.
