'So, what happened?' One of Daniel's friends, Mike, asked. Daniel looked over to Lana with a smirk on his face.

'We just... Vibed, I guess.' Lana said, the word coming out almost like it hurt her. Daniel chuckled silently and she glared at him sneakily before turning to his friends with a smile.

As soon as Daniel parked the car, two of his friends had cornered them and were eager to know what he was doing with Lana and with that car. So, Lana and Daniel had been stuck there, being forced to use their acting skills, while leaning on the car.

'You guys are just so cute! I knew there was something between you two,' Another of Daniel's friends, Jessica, said with a mischievous grin in their direction. Daniel and Lana looked at each other and almost burst out laughing.

'Yeah, I guess there was.' Daniel said amusedly.

Jessica quickly invited Lana to sit with them at lunch before dragging Matt away with her. Matt pouted as she dragged him away from the car.

'Well, that went good,' Daniel commented with a satisfied smile on his face.

'Not good enough.' Lana said and Daniel looked at her questioningly, 'It was clear that Matt didn't put much faith in our "vibe". Besides, they're not even your closest friends, if they didn't believe us, no one will.' Lana said.

'I mean, you don't expect them to believe I suddenly settled down for a girl, did you? Let alone the most stuck-up of them all.' He said, the last comment came out more a mutter, and Lana chose to ignore that.

'Whatever. We need to up our game.' She said, decisively.

'And how do you suggest we do that?' He asked. She turned around so she was facing him, and put her arms around his neck, he instinctively put his arms around her waist, 'What are you doing?' He asked suspiciously.

'I'm stepping up our game, especially when your ex-girlfriend just walked in.' Lana said with a smirk, 'Now, kiss me.' She ordered.

He shook his head, about to decline when she crashed her lips against his. He closed his eyes after the shock wore off and kissed her back. She pulled away from him with a small smirk.

'You are something else, Lana Smith.' He said quietly.

'Me? No, Finch, I'm just like any other girl.' She said. She kissed him one more time briefly and walked away from him, heading inside the school.

There's no need to say that they attracted quite the crowd of on-lookers. Finch walked inside the school, still a bit dazed and was almost immediately surrounded by friends asking questions. He stuck to their story. "Yeah, man, there was just, like, this vibe, and I knew I had to have her." He'd answer when they ask, all the while with a fake silly grin on his face that was possibly not all that fake.

'So, you and Finch, huh?' Natasha asked Lana when they met by their lockers.

Lana nodded, 'I'm not too surprised that you already heard about it.' The people at their school were like parasites when it came to gossip.

Natasha sighed, 'Look, Lana, I don't want to ruin your fantasy or anything, but Finch will hurt you. I think he's just using you for your money.' Natasha commented worriedly. Lana wasn't even offended.

Lana flashed her a smile, 'Oh, I know. That's why I get something in return.' She said, her friend furrowed her brows.

'And what is that?' Natasha asked curiously. They both turned right into the corridor and Lana smiled when she saw Jessica waving at her and dragging along a couple of girls.
