You longed to be back in the sea, swimming freely with Doris. You didn't want to be in this tank with hardly any room to swim. This scientist had been trying for days trying to separate you two. You weren't the fastest swimmer, but you could hold on to Doris's dorsal fin and she would swim to the deepest part of the water. She'd also hit the scientist with her tail fin when he tries to grab you, if she was too far away, you would stab your beak into his arm and dive off the tall rock structure.
You were positive you two could keep this up and get out of this prison. You had managed to stay close to each other for a month.
You pull yourself out of your curled up position and stretch. You yawn.
"Doris?" You ask, rubbing your eyes.
Strangely you didn't get a response other than the water.
"Doris!" You dive into the water, looking for your friend. Panic began to grip you in its claws after you circled the whole tank twice. "Doris!" You swim back to the surface and jump on the rock. "DORIS!"
You may not think this is very long, but I checked the word counts, before I put this note, and its longer than the others. Might make a full story for this maybe.
