Aria's POV

I get home a little less heated. I love Allison, I do, but she, and her friends, are insane. What were they saying some sort of vampires or something killed Kate? Whatever. Then she came bak to life? I start laughing at the thought and walk up to my room. I enter my room and see a shorter woman standing there looking at some boxes sitting in the corner. I smile and squeal. "Kate!" I yell. She turns around and smiles. Her hair is blonder than I remember.
"Hey there beautiful," she says as we hug each other. "My god you have gotten taller."
"Yeah I hit a growth thing," I say sitting on my bed next to her. She giggles.
"Well you are gorgeous," she says with a smile. Her eyes look greener than I remember, I think to myself as I look at her.
"Thank you. Oh my gosh Kate you will not believe the day I have had," I say with a exhausted tone. She giggles.
"Tell me everything."
"Well, first I had a nightmare. Then I went to school-"
"Are you sure you weren't still having a nightmare?" She says with a laugh. I laugh as well and shake my head.
"No I met some great people today at school. Mostly thanks to Allison," I state. Kate sort of loses part of her smile.
"Who did you meet?" She asks me.
"Just a bunch of Allison's friends," I state bluntly. "I guess I saw one of her friends before her," I can feel myself blushing.
"Ooooo a boy?" Kate asks poking me. I blush more and smile.
"Maaaaybe," I say dragging the word out. She smirks.
"Tell me about him," Kate says nudging her elbow to my arm.
"Okay he is really nice and he's got tan skin, brown eyes, brown hair, a face that screams oh my god hot and he has an awesome tattoo," I say quickly.
"What's his name?" Kate asks me.
"Scott McCall," I say bluntly. She looks up at me her smile gone. "What? You know him?" I ask her. She shakes her head.
"No never met him," she says.
"Well he seems to know you," I say. "But that maybe because of Allison."
Kate stands up and walks over to my desk she turns looking at her phone. "Hun I got to go," she says holding her phone up.
"Now?" I ask. She nods.
"Duty calls," she says with a frown. She kisses my forehead and leaves. I sit on my bed never hearing her phone go off.
