Nine

Scott's POV

I sit on my bed as I wait for Stiles to come over to study for the PSAT. I look around as the power goes off. Mom must be short on money again. I sigh and get up heading down to the kitchen to put everything in the fridge into a cooler. It will keep it cold for a while, but not enough for it all not to go bad. I hear a knock on the door and go see who it is. I open the door and see Stiles. I smile until I notice Malia behind him. I frown and give Stiles a "really" look. He bites his lip. "Scott I'm here for a reason," Malia says. I sigh and wait for more. She sighs as well nudging Stiles.
"It's Derek, we can't find him," Stiles says. I raise my eyebrows and run upstairs. "What are you doing?"
"Texting Allison," I say fluently and bluntly.
"Why?" Stiles complains. He always hated how I go to texting and not calling or any other way of communication.
"To see if he was taken by an Argent," I state. Malia runs upstairs to my side almost like a depended puppy.
"Are we gonna go after them?" She asks.
I get a text back from Allison that says, "No Argent around us has seen him." I start to get very nervous.
"Scott?" Malia asks. I look at her.
"I don't know, we might have to hunt down Kate," I state.
"I know someone who might know where she is," Stiles says twirling his keys in his hands.

Stiles drives his jeep to where it is parked perfectly in front of a big new white house. We walk up to the front door and knock. Just as we had hoped Aria answers the door. "Oh, hi Stiles," she says her eyes move to behind him where Malia and I stand. "Malia, Scott," she says nodding her head.
"Where's Kate?" Malia asks stepping forwards. Aria looks at her.
"I don't know," Aria says sounding worried. I furry my eyebrows confused. "Do you guys know what happened to her?" She asks frantically. "I've been calling since two and she hasn't answered."
"Wait what are you talking about?" I ask. Aria looks at me confused.
"What do you mean I thought you knew somehow?" She asks.
"Knew what?"
