Chapter Seven

Where am I?
I remembered I was fighting with some creatures which I can't recognise... Then after that, zero memories.

The bright sunshine made my eyes hurt, when I'm getting used to the light, I looked at the surrounding, white wall with white pieces of furniture, some medial books been placed on the shelves on the left side of the room, the labelled medicine cans are neatly displayed on the table and the shelves around the room, an alcohol disinfection bottle placed on a cupboard next to the entrance.

This must be someone's medical room, how did I get here? I looked at my right hand with an inserted needle

connect with a tube, following the tube, I see, I'm hanging a bit.
I heard the sound of the opening door, it's him, it always has been him, I need him.

"Moll! You're awake! How do you feel now? Do you want to drink anything?"
"Del? Is this your lab? How can you save me one time after the other?" My body is still weak, I have to use lots of strength to speak, but it still sounds like whispering.
He gave me a relieved smile, then he hugged me, "Yes, it's my lab, don't worry, I've been giving your body enough nutrition that it needs, your body should recover soon, but it's still weak now, so lie back now, I'll give you some water." "I should have protected you from those creatures, I'll never let this kind of thing happen again." I looked at other places because I don't want him to see my blushed face.

I took the water he handed over and have a sip of it. "Umm... What happened to me after?"
He tensed his face when I asked the question, "You got kidnapped by the Margolas, they brought you back to their cave at the very south of the land, and we went to rescue you when we saw your note, don't you remember you left a note, and also the mark inside the cave?" His emotion seems to be even more intense.

I scratched my head, "The memories are blurry and choppy, so I need to ask you, and you keep saying 'we', who came to rescue me with you?"

Before Del answered, four people burst into the media room, "Moll! we're so worried about you!" "How do you feel now, still dizzy?" "You have to sign up for self-protection lesson with Ms Dommy now." "It took us a long time to bring you back, you're too heavy." I smiled, my dearest friends. "You guys came to save me, and fought with the Margolas as well? I love you guys so much!" When I tried to hug them, my ribs hurt so much, "Ah..." I frowned. "Don't move quickly, young lady, you have wound on your ribs." Del leaned me back to bed slowly. "Alright, I'll leave you ladies have your secret chatting time, if you need me I'll be in the kitchen." He walked out of the room.

"So, Derek ahh? I see you two are quite close." Ginger's sharp question has appeared once again. "Not that close, we're just normal friend." He didn't say anything about our relationship apart from friend, so what else can I said. "I can see he likes you from the way he looked at you, plus the reaction when we found you in the Margola's cave, wanna bet with me?" Jessica smiled evilly.

Then I saw them making weird eye message between each other, I slightly coughed, "Anything I should know?"

"No, nothing." "Umm... Yes, actually no" They must know something. "I give you three minutes," I warned.
