Part I

Chapter Nine (Derek)

I quickly ran to the direction to king's room, I knocked on the door, "It's Derek! I'm coming to inform the king about PrincessMoll's training results!" He shouted as the door is thick. "You may enter!" The servant announced.

As I walked in, I kneed down and said: "Your Highness, I'm pleased to inform you that the training of Princess Moll has completed, and she gained a high result."
"Well done, Derek... I always believed in both of you... And I'm glad about you two's relationship... You're meant to be..." The king said it weakly. "Your Highness, how do you know?" I got shocked. "Hahaha... It's my kingdom, I know everything! I'm really happy you're Bright Kingdom's knight..." I stood up and bowed to the king, "It's my pleasure, alright, I'm going to keep disturbing your resting, I'll come to you if something else happens." The king nodded and waved him away.

As I walked downstairs, I saw my princess was reading the letter, the one that we both received, "Someone got a letter!" I showed my naughty smile, she showed me her letter to me, it said —

Dear Princess Moll,

We hope you doing well, as you might remember, the spring ball will be held on the next Friday, and I'm sure your classmates will want to see you at the ball as well.

We're looking forward to seeing you there. Best regards,

We looked at each other, "Are you going to the ball?" She turned on her sparkle eyes mode. "If you don't want me to go, then you can go with your little dukemeow." I tried to get her attention on this. "Did take it wrong or you're

jealous of my little furry ball?" She smiled and rise up both side of her eyebrows.
I looked away to the other side, "I'm kidding! Of course, I want you to come with me." She pulled my arm closer to hers.
This year I don't have to worry about no dress to wear, as a princess, you have nothing but dresses, my maids sent a new dress to me every Monday and Wednesday, I only have to pick one from hundred of them.
That's kind of an advantage!

Unknowingly, It's Friday, the Princess's white carriage is waiting outside already.
She walked down from the stairs, with her violet long dress dotted with a little glitter, under the luminous moonlight is particularly dazzling. "Easy there, my little tiger." I couldn't help myself just keep staring at her, "Hey, handsome boy, do you have to accompany? I like your violet deep colour suit with this cute bow tie, looks like we match up with each other." She winked.

I bowed down to give a kiss on the back of her hand.

When we arrived Hegus, the ball had begun already, everybody stopped and stared at us. Then I heard a familiar voice shouted, "Hey you bitchy girl! Howler you didn't come to school for three weeks!" Moll's eyes suddenly brighten up, "Hila! I missed you guys so much!"

Moll ran to hug her friends, "So! I see you and Mr Mysterious are doing well, yeah?" Ginger's evil smile. "The blushes on your cheek betrayed you!!!" Jessica shouted, we talked for a while then Del took me the dance, as all my friends are gone dancing as well.

Happy time always past quicker, soon it's time to go back to the Bright Kingdom, "Are you sure you can't stay just for one night?" Takase said it with her poor puppy face, "I'm sorry guys, but I still have things need to be finished, I promised I sent my carriage to pick you guys up on the graduation day! Sounds good?" Moll explained and tried to make them agree with her offer.

"Fine, but we want champagne in the carriage as well!" Ginger said, "Deal!"
On the way back to palace, I keep smiling at her, "What are you smiling at?" She put up her annoying face, "Nothing, I like to see when you're happy, I see you're happy tonight, catch up with your little friends." I said it while touching her head. When we arrived Moll went to King's room, she said she wants to rebuild the relationship between them. From the reaction the next morning, I guessed they had a great talk.

The king must be pleased as well, that's his only wish, to have a good relationship with his daughter, he already feels guilty for many years, since she's missing.

A few days after the spring ball, the Bright king had passed away, then the whole kingdom went into a one-month mourning, the king has completed his last wish, and his body can no longer afford his illness.

Princess didn't say anything about her feeling, she just locked herself in her room again, this time the maids aren't allowed to go inside as well which I more worry.
