Tory had her suspicions. As much as she would have liked to believe that Victor had a twin sister, it was not going to happen. Tory had purposely leaned close at one point to get a good look at Rose, and it was not easy to tell, but the voice was strikingly similar. Tory decided to do some investigating by entering her brother's room. He sat on his computer, playing Team Fortress.

"You still have your yearbook?" she asked.

"It was fifty dollars, of course I still have it." he retorted.

"Where is it?"

"In the bottom drawer."

Tory went over to his dresser and into the drawer. It was right on top, and she pulled it out and flipped through the pages. She made sure to read through it slowly. Four times she checked, and the senior class did not have anyone named Rose, or anyone who looked like Rose.

"No fucking way." she mumbled as she closed the yearbook.

"What's up?" asked her brother, not looking away from the computer.

"I just realized your whole class is composed of midgets." said Tory, not wanting to state what was really on her mind.

"Fuck off, I may be three years younger than you, but I'm taller than you by a long shot."

"Yeah, it was a stupid joke." she said as she exited back to her room.

Tory could not believe it was Victor the whole time, nor did she actually suspect it at first. Victor did not seem like the type who was into that sort of thing in the first place. Tory could only scratch her head and wonder, wanting to question Victor, but knowing it might not be the best thing to do either. The next day at school, while Victor was at his locker, Tory came up next to him. She said nothing, but only smiled.

"Uh, hi." he said, confused as to why she was here at his locker.

"How's that stomach bug going?" she asked.

"I feel a lot better today. Sorry I wasn't able to hang out. How did it go with Rose?"

"She was a doll. I can't believe you two are actually twins. She looked like a feminine you in a dress."

A knot was welling inside Victor. He could not figure out if she was playing with him or being serious.

"We get told that a lot. Guess that's what twins are for, right?" he said nervously, closing his locker.

"Let's hangout today. This time just you, but at my place. I'll text you the address."

Victor's heart nearly skipped a beat. He did want to get to know her more, but this was escalating quickly.

"Um, sure. I got to get to class now. We'll talk later, okay?" he said.

Tory nodded before turning and heading off. Victor had a feeling in the back of his mind that she had already figured him out, but he pushed that out of his thoughts and continued on with his day. When it came time, he made his way to Tory's house. His palms began to sweat as he walked awkwardly from being nervous. Her house was nothing special, just a regular house. Victor walked up to the steps and rang the doorbell. He had hoped her parents wouldn't answer, and lucky for him, they didn't.

"I was afraid you'd send Rose instead." said Tory as she leaned against the door frame.

"Heh, no. You said just me." he replied quietly.

"Well, come in. Just follow me upstairs." Victor did just that, but let out a small yelp when Tory opened her door and had a large pitbull jumping on him. "No! Boss, off!" she said sternly, of which the dog obeyed and stopped jumping. "Sorry, he likes new people."
