A hand slapped against my ass and I whirled around, shoving the beer in my hand at the guys face. He looked shocked for a second, then laughed.
"You're a feisty one aren't you?!" He exclaimed. I glared at him.
"I have a boyfriend you know." I told him.
"What Chase? He'll never know!" He waved this aside. I looked at him in disgust.
"Come on just one little kiss, maybe more." The guy snaked an arm around my waist and pulled my close against him. I struggled and pushed him away but he just attacked my lips with his.
He stank of alcohol and cigarette smoke which made me gag. I struggled harder but he just chuckled and started sucking on my neck. He slid an hand down my back and squeezed my ass. I cried out as he bit me.
Suddenly he was thrown off of me by someone.
"Leave her alone." A deep voice growled. The guy that had attacked me ran off to some other girl.
"Are you okay?" A voice asked
"Yeah, I'm fine." I muttered, rubbing my mouth with the back of my hand furiously.
I looked up to see a tall boy with short brown hair and kind blue eyes, a concerned expression on his face. He was truly gorgeous but wasn't anything on chase.
"Your dancing's incredible." He complimented me. I blushed a little.
"Thanks. I'm Maria." I replied.
"Hunter Lawson" He replied.
"Did I know you before?" I asked him.
"No I don't think so." He decided. "I mean I'd heard of you, Maria Carleton, life and soul of a party, bad girl extreme, but no I never met you."
"Bad girl extreme?" I inquired uneasily.
"Yeah, you got arrested a lot." He informed me. I bit my lip.
"Well that's something Isaac elected not to tell me." I mumbled.
"So how come you've never met me before?" I asked.
"Oh I never came to these parties." He told me. "I just wanted to see if the rumors were true about you and your amnesia."
"Oh, right." I felt a little bit sad at that. I was simply a source of gossip, an interesting story. Lets all go and see if Maria's a head banger.
"Sorry that was a little rude." Hunter had noticed my sad expression. "I didn't mean it like that." I nodded but then a song that stirred my memory somewhere came blasting it the speakers.
"It's going down, I'm yelling timber, you better move, you better dance." I winked at hunter.
"Watch this." I told him. I ran into the middle of the dance floor and began to dance again. The crowd formed a circle around me and cheered me on. I began singing along with words I didn't know I knew.
After a while I felt two hands on my waist and someone dancing alongside me. Whoever they were they were very good. I continued dancing with this random stranger until the end of the song I turned and saw hunter.
"You are one hell of a dancer." He told me. I grinned.
"So are you." I commented.
The rest of the party was a haze which I couldn't remember, dancing, drinking, talking, games until about three or four in the morning when I finally stumbled up to my room. Or tried too. I took a wrong turn and ended up in Isaac's room.
Oh well, my exhausted body thought, and I passed out on his bed.
