Awakening

Why did waking up have to be so hard? The ground is ruff against my back tearing lightly at my skin. I sat up observing the environment. The land was barren covered in rocks, some seemed to form rock like sculptures. The sky is a dark stormy grey while the clouds are white and fluffy. There are beautiful see-though blue rivers and streams cascading across the rocks. 

Surprisingly there seemed to be no plant life. As if it was eradicated long ago.

My hair rustled as if something was breathing into it. My spine tingles in fear and terror. I jumped to my feet turning to face the creature.

The first thing that caught me about were the eyes or lack of eyes. It made the creature seem terrifying and unnatural. As all creatures were perceived to have eyes somewhere. Its skin was a light green like a jade, there were also dark forest green stripes on its body. Majority of its skin was covered in dark grey war armour. As if it was preparing for a war. Its ears were long and skin with black tips. It had stilt like legs with no feet instead it just had stumps. It was giant towering over me like the moon in the sky.
