Chapter 12
"Uncle Harry?"
Teddy tentatively knocks on the door to his godfathers study.
"Yes Ted?"
He opens the door to see Harry Potter, his hair as messy as ever and his eyes exhausted. He sits down in one of the comfy arm chairs across from the desk and sighs.
"When was the last time you got a proper night of sleep?" He asks his godfather.
Harry looks up, surprised. He shakes his head.
"Thats not important. Now, what were you going to say?"
Of course. Uncle Harry can read him like a book.
"I.... Well you see, mum and dad... Sort of.... Asked me to move in with them."
He mutters, suddenly finding his socks very interesting.
Harry smiles at once.
"Thats great! When do you want to start packing?" He asks, then his eyes dim at the sight of Teddy.
"Whats wrong?" He asks, his voice filled with concern.
"Its nothing. Its just.... Well this has been my home since I was, what, three? And now they come and want me to live with them and I mean, what if they get to know the real me and don't want me to live with them any more?"
He says quietly. Harry stands up and gives him a hug.
"You do realize that that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my entire life right? And I live with James."
This caused Teddy to laugh a little.
"Your parents love you Ted. And its alright if you don't want to live with them right away. I know they'll understand. As for that last part, I'm sure they'll love you just the way you are."
After another few minutes Teddy pulls away from his hug.
"Thanks Uncle Harry."
Harry smiles.
"No problem Ted."
Suddenly Teddy jumps up and heads for the door.
"Where are you going?"
"To start packing obviously!" Harry smiles as he rolls his eyes.
Things will definitely be different around here with out Teddy.
