A year after the war ended, in the slums of a human city, a pregnant mother is walking through an alleyways. A group of people was following the woman. The woman quickly but calmly walked knowing that she was being chased. She turned a corner and meets two men. Their faces could not be seen. The woman looked joyful to see the two men. The mob of people turned the same corner the woman did but the woman and two men has mysteriously disappeared. Who is this woman and these men?...

The cries of a newborn echoes in the distance, so loud that its as if the crying is the only sound in the city. In an abandoned building, the women is lying in a bed and had just given birth to a baby. "I believe we aren't finished yet." said one of the men to the woman. While one of the men was assisting the woman with giving birth, the other man was standing off to the side holding the first new born that the woman had just given birth to in a blanket and grinning with glee. In just a twelve minutes, the second baby had been born. "How glorious, twin boys!" the man exclaimed while wrapping the second baby in blanket. The two new born's cries echoed through the building, the sound capable of being heard from miles away. The woman, barely having enough strength to move her arm, sat up and looked at the two men and her two new born sons. Struggling to keep her eyes open, her body trembling, and on the verge of collapse, the woman reached out to the men and stated, "Bring my sons to me." The men placed the babies in their mother's arms. The babies suddenly stopped crying. The woman smiled at her children. The men couldn't help but think that right now her smile shined brighter than the sun, that her smile was so pure at that moment it could bring a saddened man to bliss. "Do you see it?" the woman asked the men. The men looked at each other and then back to the woman in with a confused expression on their face. "These two boys....their auras are as if they combine the brightest regions of heaven with the darkest pits of hell. These two are a gift two this world that will bring balance to it one day." She said with an expression of complete peace. She looked at the son that was born first and stated, "This one i shall name Light...," she pauses and looks at the other son, "and this one I'll name Shade." "Those are wonderful names." the men expressed. One of the stepped forward and said, "You're fading. Shall we take the children and go?" The woman nodded, gave the men the babies and begged the men, "Please...make sure they are taken care of." "Of course. Now rest our dear." the men said in unison. The woman lied in bed and closed her eyes. She reopened her eyes and the men and babies were gone and two wilted roses lied on top of here, one red and the other blue. The mob of people from before had found the building the woman was in. The crowd barged in and found the woman lying on here death bed. The mob was too late, Macaria of the underworld had already taken her. The mob poured gas around the building and set the place ablaze. The building burned down to nothing but ash and cider.

While the mob burned the building with the woman body in it, the two men had already gone far from the area. The men walked the streets carrying the kids in their arms. The men found an orphanage. "You sure we should leave both of them in an catholic orphanage. It maybe alright to keep yours there but mine may face some trouble here." one man said to the other. "They'll both be fine. Have a little faith." The other man said in response. The men walked up the steps and knocked on the door. In seconds, someone came to answer the door. A young brunette nun opened the door and ask, "Yes, may i help you gentlemen?" The men explained to the nun that they would like to leave their sons at this orphanage. They told the women that their mothers had passed away and their new job assignments will prevent them from taking care of them. They told her that they would return for them in five years . The nun agreed to take the babies into their care. "Thank you very much. This baby's name is Light and this one is Shade. Their twin boys. Also. they don't have surnames so if you don't mind would you give them one." The nun nodded and gave a delightful smile. The men bowed, handed the nun the babies and departed. While walking away, one man looked at the other and said, "Your kind really are marvels at lying. Saying that we will return for the children." "Hmm why thank you but it wasn't a complete lie, we will come back for them one day but i doubt it will be in five years. Hopefully they will grow up strong." the other man stated. The nun looked at the men as they walked away and then took the kids inside the orphanage. The men disappeared as soon as the nun went inside.
