After talking to Bruce the entire lunch it was finally time to leave, " I'll get your jacket Miss" " Thank you Alfred" I smiled as I turned back to Bruce. " Will I see you soon?" " Bruce asked " She'll be starting in your school soon, after today she needs a good private school". Bruce looked at us confused " I beg your pardon, but what happened today?" " Father don't" " The Arkham Asylum escapees hijacked her school bus this morning, one called Jerome held a gun to her head and tried to take her" " My gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that Katie" " I'm fine, it was just a bad situation, it happens". " Your coat Ms. Galavan" " Thank you Alfred, your too kind" I smiled as he helped me slip into my coat " Would you like to have lunch at the mansion sometime?" Bruce asked quickly and I smiled as his face went red " That sounds wonderful" " Katie it's time to go" Theo called me I quickly kissed Bruce's cheek and left.

We got into the car and I groaned " He likes you" Theo smirked " He's so boring, how much longer do I have to put up with him?" " Till he signs over his company, it won't take him long don't worry, you'll be back with your little physcopath soon". Once we got out of the car we walked straight into the apartment where I was greeted by Jerome " Well hello gorgeous" he smirked at me. " Hello Mista J" I winked at him as he growled into my ear and pulled me into his body " What you doing there J?" " Unwrapping my present" he bit my neck as he pulled my coat off. " My god, can you two stop trying to fuck each other for one second" Barbra groaned " It's getting old" " Well sorry babs, but he satisfies me. Besides you have Tabby to satisfy you" I moaned out slightly.

" Yeah but when I moan I don't turn on every guy in the room", I turned and noticed every guy had a boner which made Jerome growl. " Come on I've got a present for you" Jerome said as he picked me up and brought me upstairs, he set me at the table in our room " Wipe that make up off, and take off the wig and contacts, I want my doll". I quickly wiped off my make up and put my wig away before taking my contacts out and wiping my eyes. I turned and looked at Jerome who smiled at me " Beautiful like the day I first liked you". " I'm taking you on a date" " What?" I asked completely surprised " You heard me, we're going on a date" " But we're wanted criminals J, how we gonna go anywhere without being caught?".

" I already have that sorted doll, we're going out to dinner, fix yourself up while I get dressed". I stared at Jerome surprised as he went into the bathroom, is he actually serious? " of course he is stupid, it's Jerome he loves you" but it's weird " so what? You've been working hard let him treat you". I put on some light make up and re-did my hair as I sprayed some perfume onto my neck. " Ohhh I like your perfume, what is that? The sweet scent of death?" Jerome grinned as he wore a fancy suit " Wow, you look so handsome in your suit mista J" " Well thank you I do try my best" he grinned " Your such a joker" I smiled as I kissed him.

He took my hand and brought me downstairs to the huge dinning room in the apartment. The place was lit by hundreds of candles, there was a bunch of roses in the middle of the table and two servers standing at our chairs waiting for us to sit. " J, what is this?" I asked completely shocked " I know we've been busy with focusing on our plan. But we never got to have a proper first date" " Jerome, we've been dating for almost a year, I don't care that we haven't had a first date". " Trust me doll, this dinner is an important one", I followed Jerome as he pulled my chair out and pushed me in when I sat down and sat down after himself.

I was poured a glass of white wine but wasn't given a menu, " Is dinner already coming?" I asked confused. " Our started for tonight is your favourite, chicken soup" I smiled as a bowl of soup was placed in front of me. " What?" I asked in disbelief, " Our main is chicken Diablo, with a side of pasta and our desert is a surprise" he grinned at me. I took his hand and smiled at him " I love you Jerome" " I love you too" he smiled sweetly back " Now, come on your soup will get cold". We ate and talked about nothing and everything, acting as if we weren't criminally insane, we looked like a normal young couple out on an expensive date.

I wiped my mouth with my napkin and sighed " I've died and gone to food heaven" he laughed at me as he put his own cutlery down and wiped his mouth. I leaned forward and took his have in mine " Thank you Jerome, I really appreciate all the thought and effort you put into this" " You know I'd do anything for you doll" I gave him a small and sweet kiss on the lips. " I'll be back in a minute, just need the bathroom" " Hurry back". I smiled as I stood up and made my way into the bathroom, it was so sweet of Jerome to do this. It sounds a bit harsh but I never thought he'd be able to do something like this. Wait. Why is he doing this?

" Jerome?" I called from the hall once I left the bathroom, " Yes?" " Why did you-" I stopped talking as I walked back into the dinning room and noticed Jerome down on one knee with a dark blue velvet box in his hands. I stared at him in disbelief as I smiled at me " (Y/N) I know our lives together haven't been perfect. We both had to deal with abusive parents, we both were sent to Arkham Asylum and we both have had to deal with the lose of our child. But we've been together through every moment, we've helped each other in our darkest times and now that we're free to wreck havoc in Gotham there's only one person I want to do that with.
