24...Behind

It's been about three weeks now since I've stayed in the house, everyone seemed so different now. Well, I could take that back but in a way, they were. The only thing I could hear was silence, in this room and outside the room, the only sound that was made was the crack of my door opening, I tensed up a bit from it. When I looked around, I should have known there was no one and I was curious where Subaru was.

I left my door open just so the loud noise won't echo through the halls again. I was afraid to walk, maybe the wooden floors would also make noise.

"You're finally awake." My breath stopped from the sound of the voice, it was behind me. Honestly, I didn't want to look at him but I had to. I closed my eyes and slowly turned to face him, his eyes connected to mine, they shined even from the small light that we had.

"Yeah, even though I kinda fell unconscious. I was still pretty tired." I chuckle afterward but it was more like an awkward one. The atmosphere around us could have felt awkward but it wasn't.

"You did, there was no kinda. I was worried."

"Everyone was worried, I know. But I'm here now, alive and well."

"Are you happy?" He asked me, out of nowhere. Maybe it wasn't out of nowhere but the way he said it, it sounded like he was very curious, "Are you happy with Subaru?" He asked again.

"Yes, of course, I am. I'm very happy with him...And I'm glad you're happy with Anna."

"Saki, no. I didn't want to hear that." I frown and I stay in place when he walks closer to me, he places his hands on my shoulders and I stare at him, shocked.

"I thought I made you happy." He whispered. I wanted to tell him that he did but I also wanted him to know that things change and that nothing could go back to where it used to be. I smile placing my hands on top of his,

"Shu...It's best if you keep your focus on Anna, making her happy and feel loved like she's supposed to feel. You should let go of what we had because we both know we're happier with who we are at the moment." I explain to him, his eyes never left mine and I could almost feel like he wanted to show me something that we both know couldn't happen anymore, he was a married man, a husband.

And I was a woman, starting to fall in love with someone who I should have fallen for when I stepped into this house in the first place, "I know there will be times where we think about how we use to be but at this point, right here, we should stop. Stop thinking about how happy we were, stop thinking about how we could have been something like you and Anna are. Maybe it was best for us to not become anything than just a relationship."

He didn't say anything, he just kept staring at me and so I had to break the eye contact between us. I step back and look away, hugging myself,

"Yeah, so I'm very happy that you found someone who is special to you," I told him, I wasn't expecting him to say anything.

"Shu," I look over at Anna who stood only a few feet away from us, a bit surprised. Maybe she was because it was just him and I, alone. "I was trying to look for you." She continues.

"Ah, well here he is." I quickly said, "He just helped me get out of bed since I was a bit dizzy  and gave me some medicine." I told Anna with a smile, she returned it and walked over to Shu.

"Are you hungry? Do you want anything to eat?" She asked him. Like before, he also didn't say anything but I could tell he wanted to, to tell me something that was best for Anna not to hear.

"I'll be going now," I told them, Anna nods and I smile. When I walk off, I could hear her whispering to him.

When I finally had walked far enough from them, I took a deep breath and lean against the wall from behind me, closing my eyes. But when I did, a presence quickly pressed itself on me, it's lower body pressed even harder on me.

I opened my eyes and it wasn't to my surprise to see Subaru on me, without saying anything I press my lips on his and moan when he starts to move his lower half against me. The kiss started to turn messy and hot, I brush my fingers through his hair and I felt his tongue brush against my lower lip, when I open my mouth he eagerly enter his tongue in mine.

I push him away a little from his shoulders and blush from the stare he was giving me, "That was sudden." I whisper.

"Sudden? You kissed me." He whispers back, he continues to move his lower half onto mine and I bite my lip.

"Yeah, I just thought it was going to be a short sweet..kiss." I look away as I said the last words, I heard him chuckle and felt his tongue slide up my neck to my chin which left a shiver down my spine.

"I think at this point, it would never be a short sweet kiss." He whispers, "And I really don't want to stop now."

I gasped as his hand slides inside my shirt, he gives light kisses on my neck but I could tell he was teasing me with his hands that slowly moved against my breast.

"Then don't," I whisper in his ear, he growls, hungry for more and wanting to touch me where he pleased to make me beg for more, I knew that. So he pulls away and grabs my hand, walking over to his room and locking the door.
