Well this is my story so I might as well tell you the rules. You're probably wondering why we have rules. Well where I live is my town obviously we're Underground. Why you probably wonder. Well because we used to live above but then it was not safe up there. And sometimes we have full blackouts because sometimes we don't have enough electricity. And we have all these rules to keep us safe and all these other rules are just annoying. So here are all the rules. And just tell you we have a lot of rules so I'm not going to name all of them.
RULE NUMBER 1
1. When it's night time you cannot get out of your house.
2. You can only like or marry somebody that is the same age or same height as you.
3. You get a job when your 12 years old
4. If you don't work hard you go to jail
5. you have to be 18 years old to date
6. You can only have two children
7. You can't kiss until you're 18
8. If you're late you lose your job
9. If you do something bad or talk back you're going to jail
10. if you kill somebody they will hang you up
Well anyways that's some of our rules. And we always have a different mayor. There are a lot of different jobs like, Runner, Water Works, guard, cashier, tax collector and a lot more. I always wanted to be a runner so I can hear all the gossip.( also I'm just going to keep posting more chapters just saying not trying to interrupt)I mean who wouldn't want to be a runner, you can hear about gossip and what's happening in town, Plus you have to run to give people their message. Anyways I'm Ash. I'm 12 years old. Also I have brown hair. I love the color blue. Also I live with my grandparents cuz my mom and dad died. But when I was younger my grandma tell me this fascinating Tale. She would tell me, that there was a box to get out of here in case something wrong happens but you can only open the box when five thousand years is over, you can open the box IF YOU WANT TO DIE, well that's what happened to the 10th mayor. He was being an idiot and he opened the box. Then after some weeks he got really sick. Which made me think it was probably chanted or had something bad on it or something like that. Well anyways my grandma would tell me that tale. But my grandma is very wise. She has these weird dreams that actually come true. I think it's the time where we actually start the story. Here we go.
