Chapter #7: Old Friend?

I sat in my room bored out of my fucking mind, Aaron's doing work with Jenny and I'm waiting for him to get back since, well I'm not really supposed to go out of the room but for fun... I guess I will, I got out of my bed and looked outside of my doorway, since as I had once said before my door is almost always open "Good..." I snuck up and ran down the stairs "Who to hang out with...?" I asked myself as I looked around "H-How Bout B-Betty!" I blushed at the thought of here beautiful blue eyes.

"Good idea! But... where can I find her...?" I shrugged and started to walk to the cafe I looked at the cashier.... It's Zane... I straighten out my bandana and nervously walked up to him "H-Hi..!" I blushed not knowing what to say "What do you want to order?" His voice was empty, no emotion what-so-ever "Umm... I-I'll get a... medium French vanilla P-Please..." "That'll be Two fifty" Zane held his hand out for the money, I shuffled my hand in my pocket trying to find the money when I found it I sheepishly passed it to him.

"Whats your name?" He asked as if he actually didn't know me, he's doing his best to forget me... isn't he...? "It's.. Blue you know me Zane! I know I hurt you... but your not making it better by hurting me!" I yelled hitting the counter "Sir please calm down I can assure You, I. Have. No. Idea. Who. You. Are" he said it slowly so it sunk in... "F-Fine... I-I didn't want you to remember me anyways..." I went to wipe the tear from y2k eyes but noticed that me bandana had soaked them up.

"Blue~Kun..?" I turned around to see a meif'aw "Hey Kawaii~Chan..." I say softly "What was that about?" She asked placing my drink in front of me, she put her hand on my shoulder "Its... nothing...." "Zane~Kun... can be rude can't he...?" "He's not being rude! He's pretending he doesn't even know I exist!" I stood up and started to walk out of the cafe, I bumped into someone and spilt my drink mainly on myself and they fell on top of me.

"Oops! S-Sorry! M-My bad!" "No it was my- Blue! It's you!" "B-Betty?! I-I am sooo sorry!" I felt the French vanilla burn my skin, Betty got off of me and gave me a hand "If I try using you to get up I'll pull you down" I laughed grabbing her hand, doing my best to pull most of my own body weight up "Opps... I'm really sorry about that... you need to go change now..." "Its fine, B-Betty... d-do you want to meet u-up back h-ere?" "What...?" "T-to h-hang out, w-we can meet u-up here get some f-food and go have a p-picnic" "Cathy has classes and Jenny is working "O-oh... I-I guess I did f-forget to ask if y-you were f-free..." "No! I'm free!" "Ok! S-so I'll s-see you after w-we change right?" "Yea! of course" "I-It's a d-date then!" "Yea! It's a date!" Betty smiled running off.

I blushed walking back to my dorm "Where were you?" R asked "I went to the cafe, I have to change, and I'm going back there for uhh..." I stopped knowing I couldn't tell him the truth "to get another coffee... t-that's right..." "so your going to get food and to go to the park for a picnic right?" "W-What...? How'd you know...? A-And where did you get that fire shirt?" I asked nervous "I mean my job is to spy on you and Aaron isn't it?" I looked down and nodded "I guess so..." "Go have fun kid just don't be stupid about it, like how you did before" I knew he was hinting at the instant where I punched someone.

"Ok thanks Agent R!" I ran into my room and changed into a blue flannel that had a white shirt underneath and for pants I wore some full black sweat pants, I grabbed my wallet and ran back to the cafe "H-Hey Betty!" I waved "Hey Blue!" She waved back, we walked into the cafe and ordered as much food as we could afford, knowing chocolate made me sick Betty steered clear of it but.... Zane... he kept giving me glances while we ordered since we took a while to order I was so tempted to yell 'What?! I know I'm skinny but can't a friend and I have a fat day!?' But that might've offended Betty so I just ignored him.

After we got all our food we went to the park and sat near the water, we ate, we talked about food and how Jenny... how she likes Aaron... "What do you mean Jenny likes Aaron...?" I asked "Well she thinks he's cute and she wants to date him" "Wha..." I was speechless I didn't know what to say "Do you have any interests in anyone...?" Betty seems pretty straight forward "Umm... Y-Yea... actually a few p-people... t-three to be exact" "Oh spill the beans" Betty smirked leaning in closer "F-Fine... I-I'll tell y-you two of them..."

"T-The first one is... Z-Zane... the cashier at the c-cafe... I've liked h-him for a while... b-but we had a fight in s-sophomore and h-he hasn't talked to me s-since..." I looked down sadly "You poor thing! Why would he do that to you...?" I shrugged "I-I also... like A-Aaron... he's just so k-kind to me... he m-makes me f-feel wanted... j-just like y-you" Betty smiled warmly "S-Speaking of Aaron! There he is!" I pointed over near trees where Jenny and him were sitting "Should we go say hi?" "O-Of course!" I jumped up and giving Betty a hand.

The two of us walked over to Aaron and Jenny "Hey you two!" Betty said happily "and done!" For a second the two didn't notice us "Oh! Hey Blue, Betty! I-I was just about to get going" Jenny waved "H-Hey Blue" Aaron waved to me, just as I was about to wave back I felt someone push me down and cuff my wrists, I squirmed helplessly trying to escape "Hey! Let him go!" Betty yelled "Wow, Blue you've gotten squishy" the person ignored Betty "What are you doing! Get off of me!" I growled "Temper Temper" he tsked "Ah Aaron!" The guy smirked, he still had me facing the ground his hands holding my wrist together and his knee digging into my back.

"Stop! Y-Your hurting me!" I yelped "Opps sorry" the guy finally let go of me, I got up and dusted off "Who are you anyways?" I scoffed crossing my arms "I'm you and Aaron's old friend do you guys not remember me?" "No..." Aaron spoke I just shook my head "Well, the names Xavier" he held out his hand, Jenny got up and shook it "Jenny!" She smiled trying not to be rude, Betty sighed an shook his hand too "Betty" "And you know my name" I refused to shake his hand after he had tackled me, Aaron still did though "Aaron" he nodded "Nice to see you two again! And it's a pleasure to meet you ladies" Xavier bowed all fancy like.
