• 3rd POV •
*knock knock knock*
The principle, Mephistophillis, knocked on the door of the mortal school's class room as the new girl, Akira- a dull, crimson eyed girl with onyx, red highlighted hair clad in black ripped jeans, a black shirt, a black trench coat, and black combat boots- stood behind her, cold eyes staring at the hard floor and large triangular covered figure on her back.
Mephistophillis swung open the door in a grand way, hopping into the classroom with a wide grin. The students looked at him, curious as to why he was here.
"Listen now children!" The purple haired man said cheerfully. "You have a new student/classmate from today forward! Come in now!"
Excited murmurs erupted as the dark haired girl slowly walked into the room, head down and long hair draping over her shoulders as her shorter bangs hid her face with a shadow.
"Introduce yourself now..." Mephisto encouraged softly, setting a hand on the mysterious girl's shoulder. She sidestepped, causing his hand to fall, yet his smile stayed in place. "You'll have to forgive her class. She's a bit shy. Go ahead and take one of the open seats dear."
She lifted her head only slightly and the class caught a glimpse of her blood red eye. Yes, eye, for the other was covered by a black eyepatch, what looks like a scar going from somewhere under the patch and reaching her jaw. Her head lowered again once she finished scanning the class room and she slowly began walking towards the back corner of the class, where all the empty and old desks were hidden in a shadow from the busted lights in the rear part of the room. The students leaned away as she passed, finding that the air surrounding her was deathly cold.
The threatening girl sat stiffly in the seat in the furthest corner next to a small window, the only source of light to make the dark area even remotely visible, and took the covered item from her her back to set it in the seat close beside her. She kept her head down and stared at the carved out and chipped desktop silently.
The students in the class stared curiously at the girl, some in suspicion at how the girl looked similar to an assassin, others in awe of how 'bad' the girl appeared.
"May we know her name?" The teacher asked Mephisto.
"Akira. Akira Jang." Mephisto said with a smile. "I'll check on you later Akira! Bye bye~!"
The girl made no move to acknowledge the eccentric man, which didn't sour said man's mood in the slightest as he cheerfully left the room. "Good luck with her class!"
"Well Miss Jang," the only adult left in the room said as kindly as he could. "Where did you come from?"
The girl raised her head and her only showing orb scanned the whole room for a good three minutes as everyone waited anxiously for an answer. She took a breath and the atmosphere immediately froze as they all tensed. Her voice was cold, steely, deadly, and dull. It sent chills down the class's spine, and the one word she uttered was enough to shock them all into silence and slight fear.
One four letter word.
"Hell."
• Akira POV •
I stared blankly out the window as the teacher droned on and on about the history of Japanese stock markets. I wasn't listening, not in the slightest. There was only one thing I could thing about.
Killing Natas.
*briiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!*
I stood, my head down as I strapped my scythe to my back. I gathered my worksheets, which I had finished in record time without interest, before dropping the papers in the bin.
"Hey!" Called a voice. "Akira!" I paused momentarily before continuing, deciding to ignore them. "Wait!"
I stopped, glaring back at a boy with blue hair and slightly pointed ears with my good eye.
"What?" I asked coldly. Everyone around us froze and stared at us in anticipation.
"I'm Rin" the boy smiled, ignoring my annoyed tone. "I wanted to welcome you to True Cross Academy."
I stared at him before turning my back on him.
"Don't bother me, pest." I said in a monotoned voice.
"What?" He growled, slight anger clear in his voice. I kept my head down and started walking away. "Hey! What's your problem?!" He yelled, grabbing my shoulder. "What gives you the right to be such a rude brat?!"
I whipped around, slapping his hand away and grabbing his collar roughly, jerking his face toward mine as my blood colored eye glared cruelly at him.
"Don't assume you know anything about me." I spat venomously, gripping his collar in a vice like grip as he stared at me in surprise. "Because when it comes to my life, you know as much as a grain of sand." I said, my voice becoming dull and emotionless as I shoved him away from me.
"That's enough you two!" The teacher barked, storming up to us. "Both of you, to the principles office!"
I grit my teeth as I glared daggers at the stupidly annoying man.
"No." I said coldly before leaving the room, walking through the hall, and leaving the building.
