Is It Really Your Idea, Or The Worlds?

It's empowering to just be comfortable in your own skin. All bodies are beautiful no matter what parts you have, what size or color you are. Being self conscious about your body isn't an internal thing, it's something we develop from external sources, like the media portraying these "perfect" bodies, people bragging about being skinny, pretty, etc. Literally the only reason anyone feels bad about their bodies is because of how other people in society have intentionally or unintentionally made us feel bad about them. And I think realizing that is what made me more confident. Like I don't hate my body, I hate the fact that other people don't like it, or that I feel like they wouldn't like it. Just like I don't hate makeup, or feminine things, I just don't partake in them out of fear of being judged because I'm "supposed" to be manly. Isn't it sad that basically our whole existence and most of who we are and what we think of ourselves is all about pleasing other people? In some form or another, everything we do boils down to how we think other people will react to our actions. And rarely do we ever stop to think about how we really feel about things, like if we were to strip all the external things away. Like if there wasn't so much pressure in society to look and dress and act a certain way, or to have certain careers, get an education, etc... what would you really be doing with your life? What would make you the happiest? If you could make all the money you needed in any field, what would you do for a living? If you could live anywhere, where would it be? If you could wear anything, what would you wear? Eat? What would your life look like if all you focused on was you, what you wanted most out of life, what made you the most happy? That is the biggest self-reflection question ever and we rarely ever think for ourselves and it is sad. I honestly hate the world we live in because society teaches us to hate ourselves, to only go for the dreams that are logical or that you can be the most successful in... my idea of a perfect world is where everyone can be free to do as they please (without harming others) and not be judged, not be looked down on, not be told they should do things differently. For people to encourage each other to reach for the dreams that seem unreachable, to do what makes them happy even if it's not going to make them money. We are forced to not be creative, to not think outside the box. We are encouraged to pick a path that will be easiest, or make us the most money, or be most logical. I say fuck that. We should all be able to go down the path that makes us the most happy, regardless of anything else, and we should all be able to feel comfortable in our own bodies.
