"hey donghyuck?
you okay?"

[donghyuck looked down to see himself in a hospital room]

DONGHYUCK:
"what happened
jaemin?"

JAEMIN:
"we found
you passed
out by the
park for
some reason"

DONGHYUCK:
"w-where's
seohyun?"

JAEMIN:
"seohyun?
she's out on
a date with
jeno. we didn't
know when you
would wake up.
i can call them
to tell them
you're awake"

[donghyuck was still trying to process everything that was going on]

DONGHYUCK:
"are they..boyfriend
and girlfriend?"

JAEMIN:
"of course they
are. they've been
together for 2 years.
damn whatever hit
you must've hit hard"

DONGHYUCK:
"i've never had
a relationship with
seohyun?"

JAEMIN:
"look dude, i know
you like her but man
she been with jeno
for 2 years. you need
to let it go"

[donghyuck panicked and told jaemin to pass him his phone]

[he scrolled through his instagram but their were no pictures of him and seohyun that they posted and when he went onto her instagram, there was only her and jeno]

DONGHYUCK:
"did seohyun
ever lose her
memories?"

[jaemin shook his head, questioning the boy]

DONGHYUCK:
"did mark
ever escape a
mental asylum?"

[jaemin widened his eyes but shook his head]

DONGHYUCK:
"i never asked her
out..?"

JAEMIN:
"you must've had
a pretty bad dream
for you to think
that"

[donghyuck leaned on the pillow and let out a sigh, not believing everything was real]

[the door soon opened to reveal jeno and seohyun]

JENO:
"you're finally
awake. seohyun
was getting
worried if you
were ever going
to wake up"

SEOHYUN:
"it's great to
see you okay"

[she smiled and donghyuck felt his heart shatter at the fact that what he had imagined was fake but to him it felt so real. those 3 months had felt so real to him. it had to have happened but it didn't]

JENO:
"ugh, i have
to go. i have
vocal warmups.
i'll see you guys
later"

SEOHYUN;
"bye"

[jeno kissed her lips quickly and left]

JAEMIN:
"i'll go with him,
renjun is waiting
anyways, want
to come?"

SEOHYUN:
"i'll stay with
donghyuck for
a little"

JAEMIN:
"kk bye! feel
better donghyuck"

DONGHYUCK:
"y-yeah"

[jaemin left the room and seohyun took a seat next to donghyuck]

SEOHYUN:
"how you feeling?"

DONGHYUCK:
"f-fine..how long
was i out for?

SEOHYUN:
"about 2? 3 weeks?
we were all worried"

DONGHYUCK:
"i-i can tell"

SEOHYUN:
"well, i should
get going, i hope
you're okay dong-
hyuck"

[about to leave, donghyuck stops her]

DONGHYUCK:
"a-are you happy
with jeno?"

SEOHYUN:
"of course i am.
i love him"

[donghyuck's heart shatter at those words and shot like daggers through his heart when she said that]

SEOHYUN:
"i better go,
bye donghyuck"

[she left the boy heartbroken on the bed and tears came out of his eyes that he wasn't with the girl he had loved in the dream and in real life]

[but he questioned why it seemed so real to him. the feel of her lips against his were real. the words he said were all real]

[but was it just all fake for her?]

[a/n: bascially in chapter 42, when seohyun refused to remember the times w/ donghyuck she left and he cried a lot and ended up passing out(?) and had didn't wake up for 2-3 weeks, due to 'dreaming about seohyun' and then in the end, no one remembers]
