Kim Jonghyun. Such a common name. I hate it, really. I'd rather be called JR, stands for 'Junior Royal'. My features pretty much features blonde hair(what?I dyed it), black eyes(no, I don't use contact lenses), and pretty awesome abs and biceps beneath my clothes.
Everyone knows me as this..vicious killing machine at school. I beat up the guys who likes to bully, so that doesn't make me one. But what everyone doesn't know is, that I am pretty much a bookworm. I don't go to parties, not because I wasn't invited, just that I love books more. Although I'm at the top of the social ranking at school, I rarely talk to people. To be honest with you, I don't think I have any friends. But that's a'ight.
My family, they're freaking rich, and I'm not gonna deny it. I have an older sister, a mom, and a dad.
And for girlfriends, nope. Don't have one. And don't need one. Although the girls in the whole school is attracted to me, and sometimes even flirts with me, but I don't care.
Well, this is my life.

Guys, you have to turn on NU'EST - Storybook to proceed to the story.
-Monday, January 11th, first day of school-
"Yo, JR!" A guy stopped me in my tracks and held up his fist facing towards me. What is he doing? Is he picking up a fight?
I just stared blankly at him as he started smiling awkwardly.
"I'm sorry, I'll just go." He stepped a step back and bowed.
What a weird guy. Like jeez.
I walked inside the classroom and sat down in my seat alone in the corner back of the classroom. The seat next to me was vacant, of course. No one wanted to sit next to me. I'm starting to think I'm the outcast here rather than the kingka(the king of the school).
I placed my right elbow on the table and rested my temple on it, facing the window. I stayed like that for a few moments when the teacher suddenly walks in and I straightened up. And he wasn't alone, she was with a girl which I didn't recognize.
"Good morning class, we will be having a new student for this second semester. Introducing, Lee Haneul." Standing next to him was a girl wearing a cream-colored cable knit sweater, black leggings, brown boots, a loose brown belt on her hip. She had bangs covering her whole forehead, long wavy hair with a weird hair color. Her skin was milky white, and she's quite the curvy kind. Nah, not interested. A lot of girls in my school is just like her. Except the hair color though. And her shoulders, they're..a little wide.
"Annyeonghaseyo, Lee Haneul imnida. Please take care of me." She bowed. A lot of guys were whistling despite the teacher being there. Of course he shushed the class.
"So Haneul-ah, you will be sitting..there. Next to Mr. Kim. Mr. Kim, stand up please." The teacher pointed to me.
Well my seat is the only one vacant in the room, so it's fine I guess.
I stood up, letting her know that she was going to be sitting with me. Well if she's smart, she would already know who Mr. Kim was, since the only seat empty was next to me. She nodded and bowed to the teacher. She walked over to me and sat down. I could see the guys giving me looks. Whatever. The teacher proceeded the lesson.
"What's your name?" She half-whispered.
I was a little startled by her voice and looked at her.
"What?"
"You heard me." She rolled her eyes. I stared blankly at her then back at the teacher.
"JR." I muttered.
"JR?(pronounced as jey-ar) Why not just Jr?(pronounced as junior)" She asked. So annoying. It's my name, how can she be so troubled by it? Jeez.
"It stands for something else." I said, still looking at the teacher.
"Oh, really? So it's like a nickname?" This yeoja.
"Yea." I said with no expression.
"What does it stand for?" She asked again. Guys, this is just too much for me. Please.
"Junior Royal. Happy now? Please don't ask any more questions." I tried to be gentle with her as a guy, but I swear, it's not working.
Her facial expression changed into a disappointed one.
"O-Okay.." She drifted her attention to the teacher. Finally.
This time, I faced the window instead of Mr. Park. I guess you could say I'm an audio learner. I listen better than I see. I used to get into trouble because of this, but now all the teachers understands me.
I continued to stare at at the view outside. The school garden is so beautiful..it has almost every plant you can imagine, really. And it's full of wonders, almost like a forest. That's why I love sitting here, I can clearly see the garden just outside the classroom. Not exactly outside though, more like next to the wall of my classroom. So close, yet so far.
I could feel eyes burning a hole behind me. I turned my head to the person next to me. Yup, she sure was staring at me. She stared at me as if she had never seen a creature with arms and legs or something. You know, that kind of stare. She immediately looked away when she realized she was caught and a tint of red appeared on both her cheeks. This yeoja-_-
