Chapter 2: First Day of School

Krrrrrrnnggggggggggggggg.

"Zak, wake up! You will be late.", the voice of my mom yelling loudly.

" Mom, I'm still sleepy. Just a sec mom."

"Stand up, you have to take a bath my dear.It's your first day of school right, your crush Kira will be waiting for you".

" Mom, she is just my friend!"

"Okay, hurry up, breakfast is
ready".

Well my mom always tease me about Kira.But there is nothing special between us, I just treat her as my bestfriend. After I've took a bath and ate my breakfast, I quickly pick up my bag.

" Mom, I have to go."

"Take care Zak.", my mom replied.

As I walk on the grassy road of my school, I can feel the fresh air touching my body. The breeze of the ocean subside with the current of winds from the mini-hill beside our campus.

" I am so back!", I whisper to the wind. I am the new Zak Tolentino.I am more handsome, smarter, braver, fiercer and and I am not the Zak Tolentino who was bullied by those bastard and idiot guys.

As Zak Tolentino walks on the ground, many girls look at him. He is so fresh and good-looking. He improves his fashion and the way his confidence and self-esteem arouse the humanity.

"Hey Zak, how much is your make-over?", the bully guy said and the group laughed.

" Its priceless unlike your brace with different colors!" Zak replied.

"Hey, how dare you to talk to me like that! Stupid, nerd!"

"As what I am seeing now, you look more nerd than me. You better watch your words. I am not the former Zak Tolentino you used to bully".

" Applause for the new born Zak Tolentino. He is stronger right now. So do you think that you can oppressed and deprived the most bully on this campus? Huh? You are just a David, Zak Tolentino, and I am the Goliath here!"

After that powerful statement from the bully, out of nowhere a girl kick the ass of that bully. She is so beautiful and perfect. Her face is so charming especially when she is in anguish and vain.

"Hey, you have no rights to browbeat and belittle someone!"

After I hear that voice, I feel something beating on my heart. I was aroused by her aura. She has a strong heart and her beauty complements her complexion. Her eyes is as expressive as the prose, her nose stands so pointed, her lips pouts so vanishing with fierce. I can't take my eyes from her. She was so perfect.

"The second time you bullied him, you'll be in danger!" She said to the bully guys.

The guys we're stumbled and ran from fear. She giggles on me and give me a beautiful smile. My heart beats so fast like I ran on the EDSA Road from Caloocan. She go closer to me and told me:

"Are you hurt?", she said while I am just staring on her beautiful and charming face

" Hello? Are you with me Mister?" ,she added.

Almost ten second had passed before I realized what was really happening. She slap me on my face and I wake up in the reality.

"Hey, are you just going to stare at me?", and the students behind us laughed.

" Aaahhh, I'm sorry, I'm just amazed on your character. By the way I am Zak Tolentino.", I confidently utter.

"I know. You are the guy that Kira used to storytell on me."

"Kira?"

"Yeah. Kira Santiago. She is a good friend of mine."

"Oh yeah, she is my friend also. Soooooooo, what is she talking about on me."

"She told me that you are always bullied by the bastard guys."

"But they can't bully me right now. I am the new and elite Zak Tolentino.", I replied with confidence.

She just laugh and giggles secretly and I saw again her beautiful smile that makes her even more beautiful charming.

" Well, lets see, they are known in this campus and their families have a governmental position in our country, that' s why even teachers are afraid to them. That's why I want to applaud you because you fought them though in reality you are just a piece of rock."

"Yeah I am not that strong because I dont have that kind of strong force. But they do not have a rights to oppressed and torment others."

"Yes, you are right. But wake up, you are just like a piece of rock that will compete with a barricade."

" A debris is small because its function is defeat bigger debris, even though how small that debris, it can still defeat bigger entity through heart's will and eagerness".

"Very well said Mr. Tolentino! By the way I'm Cali. Cali Bartolome. Nice meeting you Mr. Tolentino."

She smile at me, I saw her aura and charisma so extravagant. She walks away from me and my heart beats so unusual. I do not know If I am just daydreaming or what. That was definitely the best day of my life to meet Cali Bartolome, the woman whom I fell.
