Anastasia's POV

"So... What's wrong?" I ask hesitantly as I hang in the back of the group with Robin who is totally out of it right now, not good when you're team leader. "Nothing's wrong Ana." He argues, but his harsh tone tells me something different.

"Obviously somethings wrong, two months ago you would've died to be team leader and now you're moping like Batman just kicked your puppy." I chuckle playfully slugging his shoulder hoping to get a small reaction out of him, but he continues to stare at the ground.

"Ana don't you have a mission to prepare for?" He asks a bitterness in his voice that I've never heard pulling a scoff from my lips. "I'm ready, but you're not. How do you plan on leading a team like this?" I demand all the kindness draining from my voice as I grab his forearm forcing him to stop.

"Maybe I don't want to be team leader, did you ever think of that?" He sneers yanking his arm away as soon as my grip slightly loosens. He looks up his mask pinched in a glare, but it relaxes when he sees my cautious body language.

"I've known for awhile, ever since going through that training exercise." He starts to explain, and I step forward curious because once I woke up they had all sorted through their fears and problems, at least that's what they made me believe.

"You're right all I wanted for the longest time was to eventually become Batman in a way, but after having to make those calls and seeing you all die around me it made me realize that I can never be him. I don't want to be him because he makes those calls everyday. He'd sacrifice anything for a mission, and when I tried it haunted me for weeks."

I kneel in front of him wanting to be at his level, and I wrap my arms tightly around his shoulders. "It was all just a simulation, but even with that the qualities you have will make you a great leader in a different way." He nods slowly letting my words sink in, but even as we continue, and he tells me he's fine, I can tell he's not.

Anastasia's POV

"Not bad for your first mission as leader." I tease Robin as we lounge in the Logan living room deserving a nice break after our big win. "Even with the detours?" He chuckles Wally and I joining in as Marie turns the TV on.

"The detours are what made it great." I add zoning out as Bruce Wayne and Havrjati explain the rebuilding process to the people of Quarac. "Funny how Bruce Wayne..."

"Don't you have a souvenir to collect?" Robin interjects nearly losing his cool, and I stare at the two skeptically but neither notices. "Right, I almost forgot." He jogs over to the TV stand plucking the old VHS from the stash and holds it out for M'gann to inspect with wide fearful eyes.

"Something you'd like to explain?" I naturally sit up a little taller also curious and confused about the tape. She sighs her guilt and fear hiding behind her red hair as she drops her head.

"Growing up on Mars was not a happy time for me. I started watching the broadcasts my uncle sent me from Earth, and when I saw Hello Megan something just clicked. Maybe it was similarities in our names, our maybe it was how all Megan's problems could be solved in twenty-two minutes." I stand gently placing my hand on her shoulder telling her it's okay to continue or stop we could guess the rest.

"All I know is Megan helped me through a lonely childhood, so when I came to earth and had to chose a human form, I picked you." She looks past me to Marie who is gazing down at my friend sadness and sympathy filling her eyes.

"Which begs the question what do you really look like?" I turn my head to sharply glare at Robin because all girls are self conscious of the way they look, if she never told us there had to be a reason. It's a touchy subject I'm sure and it needs to be handled delicately.
