i have a lover who doesn't know he is
my lover,
my eyes twinkle and flutter whenever
he comes to view,
my heart wants to spew out my emotions,
but my mouth stutters and shuts,
if you knew i loved you,
would you love me back?
would you laugh and claim
i don't deserve you?
would you blush and smile
and think we deserve each other?
this love thing is hard but i
want to do this with you,
i give you my eyes all the way
from across the room,
the love i have for you giving them
a polished shine,
i used to hate my boring coffee
bean eyes but,
they look so much better when
you're in the reflection of them.
