My eyes fluttered open, I could hear the birds tweeting from miles away, and the buzzing of a fly.
I located the fly with ease, it was so small but I saw every detail of it, even it's thin hairs.
My feet swung off the side of the bed, I didn't know where I was.
I walked to the big oak door and opened it, accidentally I pulled it off its hinges and held it.
I dropped it on the floor with a loud bang, slowly I walked I over it.
I tip toed down the stairs so lightly, light burst blinding me as I entered the living room.
"Abel stay there" Eric said softly and quietly, he swung the curtains to cover the windows.
"How long have I been here?" I asked him, he looked at me with amazement.
"Uh, um, three days" he stuttered, why was he in so much shock.
I looked at myself in the mirror, I fell in love with my reflection.
My lips were a rose color just like my cheeks, my face was smooth, it looked like if you touched it you would be touching marble.
My hair was a lighter brown, and my eyelashes were longer, my bone structure was so much bolder.
The yellow specs in my eyes were now a deep golden, like gold coins at the bottom of the ocean.
I was so beautiful, every last bit of me, even my rotting had disappeared, and my nails had grown back.
I tore my gaze from the mirror, "three days?" my voice said horse.
"Yeah, Simon told your mom that you were staying at his" Eric said softly.
"Okay, I need to kill those guys who killed me though" I said with a grin.
I felt different, stronger, fearless, and there was no way I was letting anyone try and kill me again.
"No point Abel, I glamoured all of them to forget killing you and everything after that" Eric said.
Anger coursed through me, "even Simon and Tim" I said quickly, he shook his head.
"Well I better be getting home" I said softly as I walked towards the door.
"I wouldn't do that" he said, I swung open the door, the warm sun caressed my skin, it felt so good.
"What the hell" he said, everything rushed back to my mind, I shouldn't be able to do this.
"How are you walking in the sun" he said, he took off his ring and put his hand into a beam of light.
It started to sizzle, he yanked it back and out the ring on, "and you still have a heart beat" he said.
"Perfect so I can go home" I said with a smile, he closed the door quickly.
"I wouldn't, regardless of you being a living vampire, doesn't mean your blood lust is gone" he said.
"Well maybe it does" I said, he walked into his kitchen and came out with a bag of blood.
He poked a hole in it, i jumped for it, he stuck out his hand, and held me back.
"It's even harder with people" he said, I rolled my eyes and listened to him, we did need to figure everything out before I went into civilization.
We stood in the middle of his backyard, he had a lot of land so no one would see us.
"First we need to see your limits" he said he dragged a huge piece of metal and put it on the floor.
