Epilogue

(Tim's POV)

I watched as they put him in the ground, the love of my life, he had lived to the age of 87 and I had been by his side the whole time.

Of course I hadn't aged and even in his final years he was still the most beautiful thing in the world to me.

Tears poured down my face, as we put things in the casket I placed a single feather in there.

"I will continue to love you, and everything that you were and are" I said to his pale face.

Titus touched my shoulder, he had aged until 18 and then stopped, his eyes were permanently red but over his final years of aging he began to resemble Abel.

They looked as though they could be cousins, Titus wept for Abel, Ivan held his shoulders.

Ivan was turned into a vampire when he turned 21, you could say they were my oldest friends.

I had lost the love of my life, Titus had lost a brother and a piece of himself, but none of us cried as much as Simon.

His old body shook as he cried, I had never fully forgiven him for kissing Abel but in this moment I could see his love was almost as strong as mine.

"My best friend" he wept, he barely spoke after he turned 60, he had lost his mind to Alzheimer's, but his genius brain had made many contributions to this universe.

As they placed him in the ground my heart shattered, I came to his grave everyday for years, until the moon was high in the sky.

I know I had the power to do it, one of the gifts the observer have to me when he sacrificed himself.

His sacrifice was worth it, both of his counterparts had lived happy lives and I know that's what he wanted.

However I knew something no one else knew, the one secret I had kept for my whole life.

And now it was my time to find him, I made a vow that I would protect him in every life.

My tattoos burned as my wings grew from my back, they opened wide and soaked up the moonlight.

I waited until the right moment, the eclipse hit and the celestial gate opened, I flew as fast as I could, it felt like my skin was being burned off.

I crashed through a wall of energy, chaos surrounded me and choked me, I began to fall.

My feathers fell out of my wings as I fell, it felt like I fell for days, and the cackles of chaos filled my ears.

I broke through the second gate and entered the universe, my body fell towards the earth.

My wings were gone, but I felt a burning sensation take over my body as I burned with a golden light.

I must have looked like a shooting star, i got a short glimpse of where I was falling.

The light pollution of this earth had completely covered the stars, the towers were high.

I crashed into an alley way, thankfully my body was strong as diamond, I opened my eyes, the city was huge it was like 100 years had passed from my previous world.

All I had to do was find him, Abels son.

(Levi's POV)

My eyes were blue but I had grey rings around my pupils, they looked like eclipses.

I blinked and the mirror opened up, i pulled out my pill bottle, I threw one in and swallowed it dry.

In today's society I was considered upper class, however I wasn't even psychic.

I was a normal human being, but my adopted dad was psychic, I rarely saw him however since he shipped me off to boarding school.

I got off the bus in New York City and walked towards my dads huge apartment.

I saw something in the black sky, it looked like a star, I had never seen one in real life, there hasn't been any for 100 years, way before my time.

It looked like it crashed 50 blocks away, oh well it'll probably be on the news.

I got on the elevator and hit 113, it was the pent house, the elevator flew so quickly.

My blonde hair fell from the gravity and speed, I walked off the elevator, it was chilly outside.

The garden was beautifully decorated, and there was a huge water fountain in the middle.

I walked on the wooden bridge over the water and put my hand on the scanner, my door opened and I walked into my house.

"Hello Levi, how was school?" My father asked, his eyes were brown and intimidating.

But nothing was scarier than the black dots that lit up his eyes like stars in the sky.
