Chapter 5 The Story Begins

Pov-Roxas             Area- Arcturis Temple       Time- Setting Sun

As someone emerges from the darkness, she speaks. "I figured Sienna wouldn't let this end peacefully. So I cast an illusion on her. Right now she only sees me and you're down. She's trying to fight but obviously she won't land a hit."

"So what did you want to tell me? Try to convince me to side with you?"

"Not really. I'm merely trying to give you a heads-up. A war is coming. If Lorna thinks she can "Unite" the lands that easily then she's got another thing coming. You need to be prepared to do what you must as a soldier Roxas. You may be physically ready, but I doubt your mind can prepare you for loss, sorrow, suffering, torture, and true pain. I'm going to apologize now for what you're going to have to experience." When she finished, everything went back to normal but Sienna was tired out already. "How the hell did you do that?"

"With magic. Now that you've unleashed all your anger and even said some choice words, are we done now?"

That's when there's an explosion. Sienna and I turn as Adolf, Lance, and Rhei are running. "Guys! Lorna came through! She's having arian ships keep Zurketh at bay."

"Good, now we can handle the boss."

"Sienna you stay out of this."

"What?!"
"You've already exhausted yourself so you're life is at risk fighting here. " Sienna looks down and sighs "Fine."

Rhei unsheathes her rapier and points it at Mal. "Everyone else, let's go" We charge and Mal picks up my sword and unsheathes her tanto blade. Rhei is there first with a whirling slash strike that Mal blocks with my sword and I try slam my shield into her; she ducks and I hit Rhei instead and we stumble. Then Adolf comes at Mal as she is cartwheeling away. He slams combustion down and she jumps over him. She chants something we don't hear and stabs Adolf with my sword and shrouds themselves in a white cloud.
"ADOLF!"

We try to get through but the cloud is too dense. Then Mal emerges from the top and lands on a pillar The cloud clears and Adolf is on the ground. Rhei drops her weapon in shock. "I told you all that you have made your choices. If you truly wish to serve Lorna then expect to see this more often. Now then, Zurketh if you would."

What? Vines come up from the ground and we're all restrained. "Did you think those arian ships could truly hold me back for long? It was foolish of you to doubt my powers. Go my child!" At that Mal jumps down back to where she stood when me and Sienna arrived. She lays down my sword and sits on her knees. She extends her arms and begins to speak as a magic circle forms around her. "As the maiden to this land I beg of thee, awaken from your slumber and purify this land of those who tainted it. I beseech you, oh god of all, Arcturis!" The ground begins to shake and Zurketh flies upwards, taking us with him. "Watch as this land is purified of all things the Arian brought here." At that the districts are instantly torn down and flung into the ocean. All Arian ships are attacked by the earth and trees and pushed out to sea. Wow...she's really getting rid of it all. That's when more Arian ships try to close in around the island. Then it covers itself with wood and an energy dome forms around it. None of the weapons the Arian ships have can stop it. "Since my child once called you her family, I shall deliver you to your people safely, however I shall not show mercy should our paths cross again." No one said a word. He flies over a ship and drops us onto it and disperses into leaves that flow into Arcturis Island. Then he flies off with Mal on his back. We're brought to the captain of the ship and he sends his fleet back to the Arian air base while he takes a smaller transport ship and takes us to the capital to see Lorna. When see the capitol I see at first a bunch of tall buildings in one area and then smaller buildings that I'm guessing are homes in the other. "We keep our work separate from our housing because some of our experiments can be dangerous for those at home. Much like your island we have teleporters to get around when we need to. Anyway you won't see much of this. Lorna actually has a mission for Delta-14." He lets us off in a room from the side of the building and we find Lorna standing waiting for us. "Welcome. I suppose you're aware I'm prepared to send you on another mission. "
