After two hours in the car we were finally there. There was a old looking tractor parked next to the house. But there was nobody to be seen around the house.When you stepped out of the car you could feel a strong smell. I don't know if I've ever have experienced such a horrible smell. It almost made me throw up.
We couldn't see the horses at first. But when we walked around the corner of the old almost broken down house we found the horses it was four of them. Three mares and one foal that wasn't older than some weeks old. The fence was covered in barbed wire and didn't look safe at all.
It didn't take long to get the horses inside the trailer. They probably haven't eaten proper food for weeks. You could even see their rib cages! Many of them even had small wounds on their legs and their backs, So they probably fought over the last food they had. This man shouldn't have gotten to get any animals! So why did someone give them to him? Well he maybe stole them but I don't think he could. Well what I know it's pretty hard to steal a horse.
After making sure we had all of the animals we could FINALLY leave. I felt sick from the horrible smell and didn't want to spend a minute more there! I'm sure that if I stayed longer I would probably throw up multiple times. Even after an hour in the car I still could smell the horrible smell!!! I couldn't understand how someone could let animals live like that!!! I don't know how but after a while in the car I accidentally fell asleep...
