Chapter one

Alice

I groaned as my alarm clock rang through my house. I reached over and pressed the mute button for the small contraption.

I hopped out of bed making my bed neatly back where it had been before I went to sleep.

I slowly walked over towered my small bathroom putting on my daily makeup and putting my hair into its usual straight style.

I sped over to my closet putting on some skinny jeans and a flowy floral shirt and slipped on my toms an ran down stairs greeting my mum in the kitchen.

"how'd you sleep hun?"

"Good I guess."

"Anyway are you excited about going off to college?"

"yep I don't get to see Parker as much but we can make it work"

"I'm sure you to will find a way to work things out since you are both going off to college."

"yeah can we just get going I want to get there and study for a little while before we have to go to the introduction assembly"

"Sure thing Hun let me just get my purse and we'll be off on our way."

"I'll meet you out in the car ok"

"Be there in a minute"

I checked the trunk one last time to make insure I had everything I needed and hoped into the car about the time my mum walked out of the house.

My mum pulled out of the driveway and sped off towards my new college I will be attending this year.

Most off the car ride was quiet, just us talking here and there and having small conversations.

When we pulled up to the college gates we had to sign in and get my room information and key.I walked towards the front and they have me a cart to carry my stuff to my dorm with my mums assistance .

"Well I guess this is it."my mum choked out

"Mum it's ok i'll call every weekend ok I promise."

"I'm sorry its just my little baby is growing up so fast." she was full on crying into my shoulder now

"I know it will be okay."

"Your right I'm sorry ok well I best get going for you to catch up on your studies I love you Alice."

"I love you to mum." she gave me a final hug and walked back to her car slowly leaving giving me one last wave before her car slowly disappeared into the distance.

I slowly walked up the path back to my dorm room my roommate should be arriving soon. I got to the door and heard screaming well my roommate must have got back.

I slowly open the door revealing a boy and a girl yelling and screaming at each other.

"ASHTON YOU SON OF A BITCH YOUR WHY ZAYN BROKE UP WITH ME."She yelled through the small dorm.

"HE'S A PRICK PERRY HE DOESN'T DESERVE YOU."

"BUT I LOVED HIM."

"WELL I DON'T LIKE HIM HE'S A DICK."

"GET OUT OF MY DORM YOU OBNOXIOUS ASSHOLE!"She must be pretty mad I can hear her breathing from the other room.

The boy named Ashton I guess stormed past me shoving me out of the way.

"What you lookin at sweetheart?" his accent perking up, Australian ? i think 

"Uhh...uhh" I stuttered out

"That's what I thought." an he stormed out without another word slamming the door behind him.
