Brennen and Selena have a disagreement on whether or not their children should be allowed to go under the knife. Meanwhile, Colby and Scotland decide to show Alex and Reign responsibility.
Colby's POV:
"Alex! Come on you have your first shift at the store" Scotland yelled as she walked down the stairs with the car keys and her purse in her hands.
"Baby I'm pretty sure that's child labor since she's not 16 yet" I said.
"No as long as she doesn't work during times she's supposed to be in school then it's all good. And hey your daughter is making money so you don't have to support her as much" she said with a laugh.
"Well you own the store but since we're married we both own the store and whatever money you and I make off of the store we have to pay to the employees so technically I'm still supporting her" I said.
"I suppose. But you're the one who said you wanted your kids to learn how to work for nice things and not expect us to just hand them everything they want. So if she works at the store she gets to get the feel of what it's like working and being responsible for her money" she said.
"Yeah that's true. Oh and speaking of being responsible for money, since Reign is 13 I think we should take her to the bank and open her bank account since we opened one for Alex when she turned 13. That way we can start giving Reign an allowance and she can learn responsibly" I explained.
"Well I'll be at the store till Alex gets out so can you please take her?" She asked.
"Yeah I'll take her" I said as Alex came down the stairs in denim skinny jeans and a black work shirt Scotland got for her. She was wearing black eyeliner and her black hair was down in its natural straightness.
"Aww look at my little emo offspring in her first work uniform" i said as i hugged her.
It blows my mind to see Alex already having her first job. Hopefully this is going to teach her responsibility and she can start saving money to buy the stuff she wants. Because kids get expensive the older they get.
"Oh my god dad can you not" she said with a laugh.
"Wait who the hell said you can wear eyeliner?" I asked before looking at Scotland.
"It's fine Colby it's just eyeliner. I started wearing eyeliner when I was 13" Scotland said.
"As long as that's all you're wearing" I said to Alex.
"I'm also wearing mascara too"
"Oh hell no. She's growing up too fast" i said as i started fake crying on Scotland's shoulder.
"Okay babe we gotta go" she said. I said bye to them but before they left Hayden came down the stairs.
"Hey is it cool if I drop the twins off at the store when they get back from the mall?" She asked.
"Depends. For me to babysit or for me to train them for a job?" Scotland asked.
"Train them. They're gonna be on summer break soon and I can't get shit down around here with them fighting every two seconds"
"Yeah that's fine" Scotland said before her and Alex left.
"What shit are you trying to get done?" I asked Hayden.
"You don't know my life Brock" she said before she went back up the stairs.
"Alrighty then" I said before going back into the living room.
"Hey brother" Brennen said as he walked into the living room.
"What's up" I said.
"Nothing I've been bored all day. What are your plans for the day?" He asked as he sat down.
