Five || Coming Out

Elizabeth shares her coming out story with Reign. Reign shares life changing news with Emmanuel.

Reign's POV:

I was walking into the kitchen when I saw Elizabeth and Jake were in there.

"Hey guys,"

"Morning Reign," Jake said.

"Did you get in a lot of trouble last night?" Elizabeth asked.

"Kinda. Oh and I'm really sorry if I offended you. I actually didn't know you were bisexual till my parents told me last night," I said.

"It's fine you didn't offend me. Those kind of comments used to get to me just like they get to your mom but I've learned to not let them affect me," she said.

"Wait you're bisexual?" Jake said shockingly.

"Ummmm did he not know?" I asked hoping I didn't just out her.

"Yes he does he's just being dumb," she said with a smile. Jake left and went to the living room leaving just me and Elizabeth.

"Hey is it okay if we talk outside?" I asked her.

"Sure," we went outside and I asked the camera crew to not follow us. But we still have mics on so they'd still be able to hear us.

"What's up?"

"Okay can this conversation stay between us please?" I aksed.

"Of course."

"When did you realize you were.....bi?" I asked.

"Ummm I was I think 16 and I realized that I would always find girls attractive and my other female friends didn't. I mean they obviously found girls pretty but I found them really attractive. But I also liked boys too. And after a few months I found out I was bisexual. But I preferred men over woman," she explained.

"Wow. That's crazy."

"Why are you asking? Are you questioning your sexuality?" She asked.

"No. I already know. I just wanted to make sure I was right and not just confused."

"Well you might be confused. You might not know what you like and that's fine."

"No I'm pretty sure I know," I said.

"Do you mind if I ask what it is? You don't have to tell me if you don't want though."

"I'm.....im gay," I said with a smile.

"Aww well I'm glad I can help you figure this out," she said as she hugged me.

"Yeah thanks for that. I just, don't know how to tell my parents or sister. Or even Emmanuel," I explained.

"Emmanuel is your best friend. And Jake and I raised him to be accepting of everyone regardless of sexuality so I'm sure he'll be fine with it. And your parents are the most accepting people I've ever met. They'll be completely fine with it," Elizabeth explained.

"I know but still it's scary to think about."

"It is scary. But you'll be happy once you tell them," she said. We finished talking and we went back inside.

"Hey babe you think we can start getting some wedding stuff out of the way today?" Elizabeth said to Jake.

"Not today. Sam and I are gonna be filming in a while," he said.

"Well we can do it later tonight after I get off of work. I just think we should start getting things out of the way as soon as possible."

"I don't know how long we're gonna be filming babe. We can get to wedding planning tomorrow," he said before he went back upstairs.

"Alright then," she said before getting her purse and leaving for work.

"Alex, Reign are you guys ready for school?" Mom said as she came downstairs.

"I've been ready. Alex is the one who is taking her sweet time on her makeup," I said.

"Alright well go see what's taking her so long," she said. I went upstairs to Alex's room.

"Dude are you almost done?" I asked her.

"Give me like 5 minutes and I'll be done," she said. I left and decided to go to Emmanuel's room as the cameras followed.

"Hey Emman," i said as I walked in and sat on his bed.

"Hey Reign," he was putting stuff into his backpack.

"So I have something to tell you. And I don't know how you're gonna react," I said.

"Whats up? Oh no you're pregnant aren't you?" He asked as he gave me his full attention.

"Yes Emmanuel Im 9 months pregnant and about to pop."

"Then what's wrong?" He said as he sat next to me.

"I'm.....um....I like girls," I said.

"Oh. Yeah I do too they're cool to hangout with and they're real cute-,"

"No Emmanuel. I mean I really like them," I said.

"Ohhhhhh. You're gay?" He asked and I nodded.

"Wow. Kinda surprised actually. But I still love you Reign. Regardless if you like boy, girls or both," he said.

"Really?"

"Yes," he said as he hugged me.

"I'm so glad to hear that," I said.

"Hear what?" Alex said as she was standing in the doorway on Emmanuels room.

"Oh Reign is-,"

"Ready for school," I said as I cut him off.

"Okay then. Let's go," she said before walking away.

"I'm not ready to tell my parents or Alex yet. Just please promise me you won't tell anyone till I'm ready?" I said.

"Of course. I won't tell anyone," he said as he held out his pinky and I locked it with mine.

"Kids let's go," my mom yelled from downstairs. We went down stairs and the cameras stayed here since they're not allowed to film in our school.
