chapter 22: the pool

grace's pov**

after I put my swim suit on, I walked down the hall to the elevator. I pushed the up button and it dinged open. I stepped in and pushed the button that said 'roof'. the doors dinged opened and I stepped onto the blank and boring roof. 

Jarvis?" "miss grace?" "correct can you remove the pool cover please." "right away"

**flashback**

"hey aves" "hi grace" "aves can you put my voice so that Jarvis knows its me?" "yeah."

**end of flashback.**

I ran over and hopped into the pool.  I hopped out and scrolled through my music. I found my two favorite songs

ready aim fire, & love is mean, love hurts

I choose the second one.

*grace stops singing.*

I stepped back in the pool but stopped i at the first step.  I put my hands in a fist and opened really fast. "Bored or couldn't sleep?" I jumped as my dad walked over to me. "couldn't sleep." "oh, nightmare?" "yeah.." "do want to talk about it?" "yeah sure, it would help." "ok, start to talk."

"well let's see, I was in this dark room and a computer dude named hydra?" "grace what did you just say?" "hydra." "no.." "oh well, he aimed 3 rockects at the building we were in, & mom got knocked out. Bucky also threw me at a wall." "grace your mom and I will have to be by your side for a while." " also I'm really hurt.." "grace, let me see." 

I   showed him my huge cut across my back.

"grace what happened?" "bucky's arm has claws and he cut me." "you need to let us know these things!" "dad I'm sorry..."

before my dad could speak, the elevator dinged open and it was Nat.

Natasha's pov**

I stood in the elevator waiting for it to ding open, finally the doors slid open & showed grace and Steve talking. "Steve you weren't in bed..." "Nat. I....." "I what?" "  I needed to check on grace, since I knew she was hurt badly." "oh, I'll join you guys then."

grace's pov**

Nat walked over to were my dad and I were sitting. "so what.... happened to grace" "I got cut by, Bucky.." "Bucky.. " Nat mumbled under her breath.

"guys I'm going to my room...." "bye grace we love you." "and I love you too. night mom, night dad." "good night."

Steve's pov**

grace got out of the water and walked into the elevator.

"Steve did you see her eyes?"  "yeah, the were red on the outside.."  "should we tell her?" " let's wait till morning."

I leaned forward and pressed my lips onto nat's.  "Steve, grace is going through something that we don't know what will happen if we don't help her.." "I know, we need to talk to tony and Bruce.." "fine then in the morning we will." "ok, I love you." "I love too, want a long kiss?" "yeah." "take me to the room and you will get it." "ok."

I stood up and picked Nat up, I didn't bother telling her about grace's dream she would freak. tell her in the morning. I thought as I walked in the elevator. the doors dinged open and I took Nat to our room.
