I Guess That Makes Us A Mystery

Chapter 1

Gem's eyes change color based on mood, and she can bend all 4 elements. Treated like a sister. Girlfriend of Justin.

Keystone/Justin has better hearing than the rest of the pack. Gem's boyfriend.

Ruby: I can run faster than the rest of the pack, and I'm the best fighter. Hunter's and Cameron's sister (youngest).

Asteroid/Hunter can sense other beings (animals, people, etc.). Ruby's big brother.

Thunder/Cameron has a better healing ability than the rest of the pack. Oldest brother.

Dagger/Luke hasn't found his own ability yet.

Ivory: Rare. At a young age she doesn't have much control over her power, but as she gets older that will change. She can give power. She can hear, see, smell, sense and feel better than most of the pack. She is so close to being invincible. Only these types of wolves have a certain weakness and that weakness shows another power. Weaknesses can be found at any point.

***Ruby's P.O.V***

Gem's eyes changed from a light blue to black as she argued with Hunter about mates.

They never wanted Gem to be Keystone's mate. He's always going on and on about Keystone. Blah blah blah.

"My wolf basically screeched to me telling me that my mate was Keystone." Gem stated as Hunter noticed her eyes were black (When her eyes are black, she's very irritated or determined.)

"Your wolf could be wrong!" Gem's eyes changed from coal black to a fiery red, "He means the world to me, you're the only wrong one here!" Should I step in---

"Ruby stop watching us argue and tell him that I'm right." She glared at me with her now fiery red eyes, she didn't give me enough time to let the thought linger in my head. I stepped in.

I got involved. "Hunter, wake. up. we're werewolves..we're told who is right for us. And you have to believe her if she tells you that her inner wolf is telling her who her mate is."

Gem's eyes slowly faded from red to blue. Hunter looked a bit taken back by my actions, I'm usually on his side..I mean, why wouldn't I be? He's my brother. Hunter just looked at me, "Don't get involved." I shook my head, "Too late. You need to listen to me. You're so obsessed with Gem's safety that you forget that they actually and genuinely love each other. Why are you so freaked out? Did you forget he lives with us? Why don't you have a problem with that?" He just stared. Thought. Looked at me dead in the eye and growled "I said, don't get involved." I blinked and he walked away.
***Gem's P.O.V***
I just blinked at Ruby. She's never looked so hurt. She just turned to me and said,
"It's fine...He'll be over it by tomorrow I think."
