Can you keep it secret?

Chris POV

That Math lesson was one of the best ones I have had for a while, and that is saying something. Britt's beautiful smile kept me going throughout that boring old crap. Thank god it's recess hey. I realized that I knew nobody here but Britt invited me to sit with her group. It was really weird being with such popular people because I am used to being one of the music guys, but they all seem ok I guess.

Britt and I ditched the others and went to our next class together. We were playing 21 questions and she asked me this.

"Why did you move here to PSC?"

"Umm... because our family moved houses."

Well I guess that was kind of true. The actual truth was that I needed to be closer to where the TV show I am on's studio was, but I was not allowed to tell anybody. Hands down. Secretly, I auditioned for 'The Voice Kids' but not even my best mate Ethan Karpathy knows. I want it to be a secret. But would you believe it, I actually got in and it will be broadcast soon. I realized that I need to tell someone because all that secrecy was really stressing me out. I thought Britt was trustworthy but I barely even know her. Oh stuff it. I'll just tell her.

"Hey Britt, I barely even know you but I know you enough to tell you this. But do you promise not to tell anyone?? Please?"

"Yeah Chris I will not tell a single soul! I promise." said Britt

"Okay. So... " I started off. Oh damn it. The bell just happened to have rung in this extremely important situation. Aah! Oh well, I will have to tell her another time.

Britt and I headed off to our next class, which was music. Music is my all time favourite subject! I love singing and I must be okay at it too for getting onto my dream show. We headed there and I discovered Britt's favourite subject was music as well. Oh wow, what another thing we have in common I smiled to myself.

Our new music teacher, Mrs Smith, gave us our new assignment which was to create a song with guitars as an accompaniment with a partner. Luckily, I got paired up with Britt. Wow this day keeps getting better! We went off into a quiet music lab with our guitars and thought of what song we could make up. Ed Sheeran happened to be both our favourite singers, so we decided we could base the song off one of his works. I found out the our favourite song by Ed was 'The A Team'.

Britt POV

Oh my god. I just heard Chris sing 'Ed Sheeran'. What the actual fucking hell. He is Amazing with a capital A oh my god. His voice is as sweet as a sugar-topped candy flavoured lollipop.Oh my god I want more. It's like a drug.

I guess that I'm okay at singing as well so I joined in with him and the chemistry was real. We decided to change the lyrics a bit so it wasn't plagiarized. Chris did all of the work which was totally fine by me since I have an excuse to stare at his beautiful face. I kept staring into his eyes and they kept staring back into mine. Chris interrupted this moment to say

"Britt, I barely even know you but... I think IIIiiiiiiiiii......"

"Yes Chris, what?"
