(Continuation)
In the Slytherin common room.
Draco Malfoy was lying on the couch, his 'so called friends' sitting on the couch waiting for him to speak. But he just stayed there for a while, not even making a movement. Finally Crabbe broke the silence.
"Um.. Draco, we should head towards the Great Hall. It's dinner time."
That caught his attention. He shook his head. "You can go. I don't feel hungry anymore." He said and adjusted himself on the couch properly.
Crabbe and Goyle nodded and hurried towards the door leaving him with his thoughts alone. Just then he let a frustrated groan and sat straight. His one leg still on the front table.
"Why is it always me!" He shouted in frustration and threw a small metal object lying on the table.
"Slow down there mate." Blaise said.
Draco turned around with a confused expression.
"Bloody Hell! When did you get here." He asked.Blaise stared at him, giving him look ' when was I gone?' Draco shook his head. "Something bothering you there mate?" Blaise asked quietly though he did knew the answer. When Draco didn't answer he further replied, "you know Potter and his little crew is up to something. Again." He now sitting beside him.
This caught his attention. Up to something? They are always up to something. "Like what?" He asked, getting curious.
"Don't know, but you know people notice secretive glances and all. They have been doing it a lot there." Then he shook his head slightly, "I bet they are planning to go to the infirmary. Professor Dummy will be using his dumb spell again"
"He is going to do what?!" Draco asked standing.
"You don't know? Oh well, Apparently one student heard MaGonagall's 'secret' conversation with professor Lupin."
"What were they talking about?" He asked, desperate.
"Oh um.. Professor Lupin doesn't want Dummy to cast that 'weirdo' spell on that boy and Cat was trying to convince him and that stuff." Blaise said, "I am going to the hall, wanna come?."
Draco nodded.
"My mother is going to take a divorce soon, its good though never liked that gu-" Blaise started but Draco was lost in his own thoughts.
They were half way through the hall when they heard something rather someone.
"We could get expelled for this!" Someone whispered loudly.
"Shut up 'mione." Other replied.
"Shhh.." Draco said and dragged Blaise towards the nearest classroom.
"Listen" Draco ordered and Blaise tried to listen with his mouth shut.
"Harry we shouldn't be doing this." The voice argued.
"Of course it's the trio." Blaise whispered, happy that the rumors were true (mostly because he was right).
"I swear if you speak another word, Hermione, we are going to leave you here." Ron said, irritated.
"Fine!" Hermione Granger said which received shhh from boys.
"What are we doing Draco?" Blaise asked.
"We are following them you idiot." Draco said, probably taking Blaise with him wasn't such a great idea. But he wanted more information so that he could somehow send letter to his father, and yes for time period they weren't allowed to send letters, but hey from when does a Malfoy cares for rules.
They followed the trio. As they reached the infirmary they noticed the same greenish color. Professor Lupin was clearly looking unhappy, the boy sleeping peacefully on the bed. Dumbledore looking at the picture and MaGonagall trying to comfort Lupin.
"Draco this is a bad idea." Blaise whispered. Draco shushed him. They were hiding near a cupboard. It was quite a surprise that no one saw them coming in. Except for trio of course. But they can't do anything since it would somehow create noise and detention was the last thing they wanted. So they decided to let it go this time.
