Chapter 9- secret revealed

"Mom, can you pass the bread?" I asked while having dinner with my mom, KC, chandler, and his parents.

She quickly grabbed the bread basket and passed it down the row.

She hadn't spoken to my father since the dinner started.

"So how have you been? Long time no see." Andy asked KC.

"I've been pretty good, been divorced for a long time." He told her but I felt like the last part was said towards my mother who's eyes haven't left the chicken on her plate.

I looked over at Andy and Michael and couldn't help but stare. They're the kind of couple who you could look at and immediately know they were in love. Michael was older than Andy but you could hardly tell. They looked so happy. It makes me wonder if that'll be me and chandler. Andy smiled real big as Michael whispered in her ear and place a sweet kiss on her neck.

I literally had to tear my gaze off of them and look over at chandler who hadn't touched a thing on his plate.

"Not hungry baby?" I whispered and he looked at me.

"No." He told me and excused himself from the table and went upstairs.

I decided to stay for the sake of my mom but when chandlers parents left and my parents started talking, I sneaked out through the door and ran quickly up the stairs to my bedroom, which chandler was laying face down on the bed.

"Baby." I sighed laying down on the bed and scratched his back, comforting him in a way that I knew he loved.

"I can't do this anymore." Chandlers muffled voice whispered to me as he turned around on his back and sat up.

A million things ran through my mind, but the worse thing was that he was leaving me again.

Going away for years and just leaving me.

At the thought my eyes glistened with unsheded tears.

"What do you mean?" I asked bravely and took in a deep breath, realizing this could be it.

"I can't keep being with you without you knowing. It's hurting you, and I know it. We don't keep secrets. I know everything about you. You know everything except the one secret and I know it's eating you alive not knowing." He said frustratedly and pulled at the tips of his hair.

"Then tell me chan." I whispered hugging him closely and placing kisses on his neck.

"It's a huge secret rikki. It's not something I can just tell to people. Not even my girlfriend. You'll leave me when you know. I know you will. I can't lose you but I can't keep being with you and keep knowing it's killing you and cool possibly ruin our entire relationship."

"I PROMISE you, I'm not leaving you. I don't care if you're a criminal or whatever secret you're hiding. I love you more than I love myself. I'm not leaving you ever." I assures him and let him pull me onto his lap.

"You're not gonna believe me.." He barely whispered, hurt evident in his voice.

"Tell me anything and I'll believe it." I hugged him closer and his lips touched my neck.

"Anything?"

"Anything." I told him arching my neck and let him continue sucking on my neck.

"I'm a vampire." He said kissing my neck gently again.

My eyes immediately shot open and I stood up quickly and looked at him.

"Don't be afraid. I'm still your chan, I'm just different. I'd never ever hurt you." He whispered standing up and walked towards me.

As if it was a new instinct, my feet found themselves stumbling backwards until my back hit my wall.

He came chest to chest with me and circled his arms around my waist.

"Are you afraid?" He whispered and laid his forehead against mine, not breaking eye contact once.

I looked into those deep blue eyes and saw chan. The guy I've been in love with all my life, the guy I'm ping to spend my future with and surprisingly, it didn't affect me like I thought it was. Chandler would never hurt me.

"No." I told him wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him.

"I love you. I'm so glad you know, baby. I'm so glad." He smiled and pecked my lips again before lifting my legs around his waist and attacking my neck with kisses.

He sucked on it gently then a little harder, I knew exactly what he was doing.

Marking me.

"You'll never be anyone else's, neither will I. We belong together. I love you too." I told him pecking his lips once more and hopped down.

Then a teasing smirk rested on my face.

"What?" He smiled.

"So I got me my own Edward Cullen?" I laughed loudly and he groaned.

"You know as much as I love you, I hate your taste in fictional romance movies. I don't even know how they came up with the stuff on there but don't believe a word of it. It's all bullshit. We don't sparkle, werewolves aren't out worst enemy, we don't stink, our eyes don't change color, and we don't feed as often as they make it seem. There's only one thing they got right, some vampires choose to feed on animals. Let me explain the real vampire world to you though, We feed like once a month. That's it. A lot of us have control. We can be around humans all the time and behave ourselves. Like me, I can kiss your neck and not think twice about hurting you. All I can do is smell and it's like a different type of perfume. We don't burn or sparkle in the sunlight either, it's the same thing as humans. And we can't change a person, either you're born with it or not. You can't just become a vampire like that. At a certain again, usually around 14, you start experiencing these changes and that's why I had to leave. I had too much to worry about. I didn't have any control over myself then. Now, I have more control over me than the damn curse does. It's nothing like the movies though, this is real life." He finished telling me and I was intrigued.

"Can um can we still have kids?" I asked looking at my toes.

"Of course we can. They won't kill you or any shit like on twilight. They're normal till they reach that age. I mean honestly, I don't even know how I got it. My parents and their parents and their parents parents have never experienced it before. It just chose me I guess." I smiled and hugged him tightly.

"I love you, thank you soo much or telling me. Just remember, i won't tell anyone and I'm never leaving you. You're my baby. My love and I love you and all the thins about you. Even if you are a vampire." I giggled kissing him and as if on instinct, he took my lips between his teeth and bit it.

I moaned out to him and he laughed and laughed.

"You're so easy to turn on. Come on, let's go finish dinner baby." He winked and hurriedly ran downstairs away from me, knowing he was in trouble.

Well I know two things about chandler, that are gonna change everything.

1. He was a vampire.

2. I loved him dearly, and it didn't affect me. Actually, it's kinda hot.
