cassidy's POV

when my uber pulled up outside the studio I saw a small brunette boy waiting for me at a side door.

I went up to him and he beamed at me.

"Cassidy! Hi I'm Nick!" He hugged me and I said hi back.

"Follow me" I walked after him as he led me down a corridor.

We went into a small room that had a recording booth attached to it.
Inside I was met by a tall boy with a cute grin on his face.

"Cassie, how's you?" Zion pulled me into a hug and when we pulled apart I noticed his sharp jawline. He was a lot better looking in real life.

"I'm good thanks"

"This is Edwin, Austin and Brandon" Zion introduced me to all the boys and we talked about where I was from etc.

After about 20 minutes Brandon began playing a backing track from the speakers.

"What do you think Cassidy?" I nodded along to the beat

"It's our new song solita, we're recording the vocals today" Edwin explained.

"I love it" I told them.

Each boy took it in turns to record their part in the song and I watched them. I made eye contact with Zion a couple times, he even winked once.

"I think it's done" Brandon sat back and played the song.

"It's missing something" Austin stated.

"It needs some ad libs or something, but a contrasting voice" Nick said.

Zion looked at me, "cass I bet you could add some cute ad libs in" I blushed but shook my head.

"I don't want to ruin your song" I laughed

"Get your butt in that booth" Nick pointed at the room.

I hesitantly stood behind the mic and followed Brandon's instructions. After about half an hour of messing around I exited the booth.

It took Brandon a little while to fit my voice into the song but he finally had it ready.

We all sat back and listened intently. When it finished Zion bear hugged me.

"Dude that sounds so good" Edwin high fived Brandon

"You make it sound incredible" Zion looked down at me and I looked up at him. His eyes flickered to my lips but my mind flashed to Jonah.

"Thanks guys" I say breaking Zion's glance.

"No thank YOU" Edwin laughed.
