She got up to leave and when she was in the doorway she looked back with kind eyes, "thank you Yoongi".
Yoongi smiled back and U left. His smile dropped and he sighed heavily, dropping onto his bed.
He couldn't think straight so he just slept the night away.
*
"Yoongs!!" He heard someone call his name, then he felt a heavy weight drop onto him. He groaned and tried to get the person off him.
"Yoongi hyung, you slept in man." Taehyung said, wiggling himself off Yoongi. He turned in his bed and slowly opened his eyes, only to be met by Taehyung's dorky face and boxy smile. He frowned and groaned again, burrying his face into his pillow. Taehyung began shaking him.
"Oh come on hyung, don't leave me to deal with a rookie" he whined. Yoongi's eyes shot open and he sat up in his bed as fast as a lightning. "Oh shit shit shit shit, fuck!" He cursed as he ran around his room like a chicken, trying to get ready. Meanwhile, Taehyung just laughed. In the midst of Yoongi wearing a black leather jacket, he threw a pillow at Taehyung to shut him up.
Finally, when he was fully ready he spares a glance at the younger, "get up you giggly bitch." He told Taehyung and together, they headed towards the office.Knock, knock.
"Come in!" A female voice called out. Taehyung and Yoongi entered the office together. They bowed and sat down near the desk.
"You're late." Miss U says in a serious tone. Her wavy black hair was down, she was wearing her black jacket and her hands were crossed across her chest. She had black lipstick on, a sign that she was going on a mission soon.
"I know, we're sorry Miss U." Yoongi apologized, bowing on his seat again. U looked away and moved behind the boss."Pffft, Miss U?" A voice said, giggling.
Yoongi didn't even pay attention to who was in the office.
He looked at the small boy sat on a chair. He has baby pink hair that was so fluffly, it reminded him of cotton candy. He had full, plump, pink lips. He had a small, button nose; his eyes were slightly droopy and when he laughed, his eyes disappeared into his face.
His laugh was sweet, Yoongi thought.
He was wearing a baby blue hoodie and white shorts, but...no shoes or socks..?He looks familiar.
"Mr. Min?" Boss asked, tilting her head. Yoongi snapped out of his thoughts and looked away from the boy.
He heard the boy mumble, "he likes what he sees" and laughed to himself slightly.
"Ahem, yes, sorry...what were we saying?" His boss looked slightly annoyed, "as we were saying- this is the boy you identified as Park Jimin yesterday. We spot him in the street where Seven Luck casino is located."
Ah. So this is the troublemaker huh. Yoongi was still in his sleepy state so he didn't even recognise him.
He was totally different when he met him 5 years ago and he looked the same in the picture in the files, but in real life? He's like a whole different person."So?" Taehyunh asks.
"Sooo, he was in the casino but he is only 18." The boss says.
Taehyung motions for her to continue. She sighs and reminds him, "Only nineteen plus people can enter."
Taehyung nods in understanding.
"Well, today, I turn eighteen. It's my birthday but I have to spend it with you assholes." The boy says, scoffing.
Boss scolds at him, "language young boy." He mutters, "I have a name."He's a fiesty one, huh.
"Anyway, he is in the gang." Boss says, she looks at the files and continues, "he is a rank 4." At that, Yoongi's mouth hangs open.
The boy is only 18 and he is a rank 4!?
He moves closer and closes Yoongi's mouth with his soft, small fingers. "Impressed?" He asks, smiling.
"No, not at all." Yoongi lies through his teeth.
"What's a rank 4?" Taehyung asks. He's still a rookie after almost a year of working here, even though he denies it.
Miss U finally speaks after being silent for almost 10 minutes now. "In that gang, there are 10 ranks. When you're new, you don't really have a rankin-"
Jimin cuts her off, "not true actually." Everyone look at him. "Oh? Then tell us Jimin." U says, slightly pissed off. She hates it when people cut her off when speaking. Jimjn sits back in his seat and crosses his arms, "no". He says simply. He had a smirk on his face. "Excuse me?" U says. "I said no." He snaps back.Oh, Yoongi knows this game.
"Information has a price." Yoongi speaks up and the boy pays attention to him, "what's yours?"
Jimin sighs, "I want my freedom."
"Alright, we'll let you go after we're done with you. Your choice: either you go back to the gang and be arrested by the police soon, or you go back to your normal life like nothing happened." Boss says.
Jimin scoffs, "no, I make my own options here missy." Boss was about to say something (probably about being offended by the word 'missy') but Jimin continues, "I don't have a normal life outside the gang. My family was killed off in the hands of another gang leader and I was the only "survivor". The leader of Puleun Gyeoljeon, took me in as technically a privillaged slave. He wanted me to work for his son and so I did. I have in the past 5 years. If this gang blows off, I have nowhere to go. I'll probably die in the streets." He said, tears welling up in his eyes.
"Then work for us" Miss U suggests.
"I can't" he replies, "I- Jungkook...I don't-"
"He's not the leader of Puleun Gyeoljeon yet so we can protect him and take him in.." Taehyung says with a warm tone and a small smile. "Right?" He asks no one in particular.
"Well-" Boss starts to talk but Jimin bursts into tears. "Please! You have to! He's a good person, I promise! He hates his dad and he is technically an angel and he's so so smart so you can put him to use and-" Jimin was getting carried away, so U steps in, "okay! We'll consider it. If you give us the information we need, we'll think about it."*
Wow, this was such a useless chapter...1077 words for some crap. Well done me ಠ_ಠ
