Ravencloud's War

Chapter One

Ravenpaw awoke in the cold den, her short fur didn't do much to protect her from the freezing air. The black she-cat slowly stood and glanced over to the other side of her to see that Beetlepaw was still asleep.
   A voice broke the peaceful silence "Beetlepaw, Ravenpaw, your training today with Mothpaw!" then the gray pelted she cat left. Ravenpaw nodded while Beetlepaw slowly opened his eyes and yawned a mumble of a response, "Mor...Ing...foot" 
   Ravenpaw was sitting neatly next to the prey pile within five minutes. She already had eaten a mouse and groomed her fur. Beetlepaw soon was sitting next to her, eating a vole, his fur a mess.
   Soon Dovefang and Shadefoot had come. Ravenpaw looked for Icesight, wondering where her mentor was but she trusted that he would be coming any moment.
   Mothpaw came rather quickly, sitting next to her sister. "Hi Ravenpaw!" said Mothpaw in a friendly tone but the black she cat ignored her sister and focused on the mentors.
   "Today we will be learning a new hunting-" Began Dovefang but Ravenpaw had inturupted her.
   "Where is my mentor? Also if you didn't notice, were nearly 12 moons and my sister still doesn't know the shadow pin. Me, Beetlepaw and Mossypaw were learning it while you taught her another hunting technique, I think I would rather learn how to protect my self then learn another useless hunting technique!" Ravenpaw glared at Dovefang, she was done.
   Dovefang was furious," Ravenpaw, you are an apprentice and I'm a warrior. " she meowed furiously.
   Shadefoot came in "Ravenpaw, you have no right to speak to a warrior like that. You can go help Smallpaw with the elders."
   Ravenpaw nodded, attempting to calm down. She walked into the elders den and greeted Smallpaw only after he said hello three times.
