Puddle raced through the forest, her sister Dewdrop beside her. "Bet you can't catch me!" she yowled out loud. She kept running and running through the forest. Puddle could tell that Dewdrop was starting to catch up to her, she could feel her sister's fur brush up against hers.
Finally Dewdrop was able to pass her and get to the den before her. "Ha, beat ya! I bet you I can win against you next time!"
"Ha ha, in your dreams! That is the only time I will let you beat me!" she called. She climbed into the den and curled up next to her sister.

A little while later, Tiger, Cloud, and some of the other rogues came into the den and dropped prey on the fresh kill pile. "How was your race?" Tiger asked.
"I beat her," meowed Dewdrop. "And I will do it again next time to!"
"We will see about that," said Puddle with a mrrow of amusement. "I just got a little tired, that's all."
"Really? But Puddle never looses a race." meowed Koda, another member of the group.
"Yes, Puddle has always won a race and is very competitive, but it makes sense since she's the younger of the two." said Tiger. Puddle cringed at the thought of losing.
"I won't lose the next one okay?" she snarled back in reply. The shocked look on Tiger, Cloud, and Dewdrop's faces were very surprising to Puddle, and she immediately felt really bad about yelling at them. "I'm sorry, okay? It's just the pressure of trying to beat Dewdrop. That's when she pulled up in front of me."
Her sister and her parents looked at her and then padded away to get some fresh kill to eat. She pulled out a falcon that she had caught in the hunting patrol she was apart of earlier. She went back to her nest and bit into it. It was delicious and juicy. She looked back to where her sister was and saw that she had a rabbit. She must have run very fast to catch that piece of prey. She remembered the race with her sister earlier that day. A low growl crept up her throat.
"What's wrong Puddle?" her father was standing beside her, with a confused look on his face. "Are you still mad about earlier?"
"No it's just..." she trailed off, not knowing what to say.
"I know, you are a bit envious being the younger one," he replied. "Just try and make the most of your time with your sister."
She turned away and padded back to her nest. She curled up and put her tail over her nose.
