Mady POV

We were in the car. Luke was driving and  me and Calum we're sitting in  the back. Henry was laying on the floor beneath me and Calum was sitting next to me with his arm around my shoulder. Luke says " Olivia is very weird so don't worry you all should get along. Also mads she really likes dogs so if you could at least let her pet Henry once ok?" " I am not supposed to do that but I will. It's not hard to get him to refocus." Calum leans over and whispers " After we get home I want to take a walk with you to get to know you ok?" " Alright." The car stops and I look out the window and we are at a not really big house but it looks like a cozy one. " Luke can we come up there with you?" " Sure, don't embarrass me." " I'll try hard Luke." Calum said. I said    " Henry focus buddy." He looks at me to do a check up. We get out of the car and walk up 4 steps to a big brown door. Luke knocks and this girl opens up. She is wearing a nice black dress. " Hey Luke!" " Hey olivia. This is Madyson and Calum and her service dog Henry." " Omg a double date plus a dog, this date is gonna be great." She said. I said " hey olivia would you like to pet henry?" " Sure!" She walks up to him and said " I love dogs. Your such a beautiful dog." She backs up a bit and I say to Henry " Henry focus." He looks up again and Luke says " Shall we head out." " Yeah." We all said. Luke opens the door for Olivia and Calum opens the door for me. I say " Thank you handsome." He blushes I say to Henry " Up please." He jumps up and does a down stay, I sit down and Calum sits next to me and puts his arm around me and I blush and bite my lip. " What are you doing that for?" Calum asked. I said " To prevent me from smiling because I don't like mine." " Yours is beautiful, you should smile more." I smiled and he said " That's the prettiest smile I've ever seen." I blush again and say " Omg is the Calum Hood hitting on me?!?" " Maybe." I blush again and lay my head on his shoulder. He kisses my forhead. Luke says " We are here." I look out the window and see a sign that says Cracker Barrel. " OMG Luke I love this place!!!!" " I am glad you like it." He said. Calum said " I've never been here so I have no idea what it's like." " Calum this place has amazing food." " Alright if you say so." He laughs. He opens the door of the car and says " I opened it for you because I am that nice to you." " Awe thank you Calum." I grab Henry's leash and put it around my shoulder and wake him up and he comes out. I give him some love because he is just such a good boy. Luke puts his arm around Olivia and Calum does the same to me. Luke opens the door for Olivia and then Calum grabs the door as I try to enter it. He says " What kind of date would it be if I wasn't a gentleman?" " I honestly don't know Calum but you are doing a really good job." He blushes. We walk in and the waiter says " how many?" Luke says "4" the waiter says " Ok and any breakfast menus?" " Yes." I answered. " Ok follow me." We follow her to a booth and I sit on the outside and Calum sits on the inside. Luke sits in front of Calum and Olivia sits in front of me. 2 little kids run near us and scream " PUPPY!!!" This scared Henry so I excused myself and went to a empty wall and have Henry do DPT to get his mind back together. I talk to him and say " I am sorry I haven't spent a lot of time with you." He looks up at me and turns his head sideways confused of what I said. " I meant I am sorry I haven't let you go out into the huge back yard and let you be a normal dog for a bit. He looks at me again and looks like he understood what I said. I said to him " release." So he got up and we went back to the table. Calum asked " What happened?" " The kids the came by and screamed puppy scared him so I had him do DPT and I talked to him for a bit." " Oh ok." The waitress comes and didn't notice Henry and accidently stepped on how paw and he whimpered. " Omg I am so sorry I didn't notice that the dog was there." " It's ok, he is fine." " Alright could I get you love birds anything to drink?" Olivia said " iced water." Luke said " iced water please." Calum said " A smore latte." I said " Orange Stewart's soda and a bowl of water please." " Ok and are you guys ready to order?" " Yeah." We all said. Olivia said " Mac and Cheese." Luke said " a chefs salad." Calum said " the campfire meal." I said " 2 pancakes with bacon and eggs and no butter." " On your order will he out shortly." " Ok." We all said. Luke asked Olivia " so what do you like to do in your free time?" " I like to work with the people at the retiremeant village. Oh Mady would you mind stopping by there and bring Henry so they can see what he does?" " Yeah. I mean I do bring him everywhere with me anyway." " Ok. Mady what do you like to do in your free time?" Olivia asked. " I like to sing and play guitar and just be a goof." " Omg you sing?" They all said in sync. " Yeah I try to do covers." " That's really cool." " Yeah it is. I told Luke that we should do a cover too. I also want to do one with you Calum." " Ok." The waitress comes with our food and everyone says thank you. Within 45 minutes and some conversation we are done. " Hey Luke can we look at the gift shop please??." Begs Olivia. " Alright." Me and Calum walk around and find these really goofy toys and face each other and make funny faces. This boy in a wheelchair and his mom come up to me and ask " Can he please pet your dog he has been nagging me about it." She laughs. I said " Of course let me put him up there for you." I pay the wheelchair arm and Henry comes up and puts his front paws. The boy asks " What's it's name." I said " His name is Henry." " Hey that's my name too!!" The boys said excited. " Wow that's actually really cool, he is just 1." " I am 7." The mom says " Ok thank you Henry and your owner." " Your welcome." I smile and Calum says " You are such a nice person." " Thanks Cal." I say to Henry " focus Henry." He looks up at me again. Olivia and Luke come up to us and Luke said "Lets go to the movie before.we miss it." Luke said laughing."Alright." Calum said. I look around and make eye contact with a boy and he smiles. Calum notices and puts his arm around me and says " Don't worry, I've got you." " Thanks Cal." We get into the car and I think to myself. This night has been so great so far. I loved it when Calum got a little protective over me. But he doesn't have to worry. I like him. I really hope that the movie we are gonna see is gonna be good. But most importantly I came closer with Calum.
