Lukes POV.

I go out and into the viewing room. I go up to the trainer and ask. " Hello Miss, I was helping Mady groom her horse and I actually enjoyed it, I was wondering if I would be able to ride with Mady?" The trainer starts to think and says. " Ok, would you like to ride western or english?" I think and I have seen both be done before, I think I will want to try whatever Mady is using. " I will try whatever Mady is riding." She then says. " Ok Mady is ridng western so lets go find you a horse. "  We walk to the stables and Mady is there. She says. " Why doesn't he ride Trouble?" Jess ( trainers name ) says. " I didn't think of him, Luke what do you think?" I almost had a heart attack when Mady said Trouble's name. What if he tries to throw me off? Just ask why he is named that way. " Uh why is his name Trouble?" Jess says. " We tend to name the horses after their personalities, don't worry he is a great beginner horse, so what do you say?" I think about it and he seems nice from what she has told me. I say " Sure, lets add a little spunk to this day." So we head down towards his stall, he peeks out and is beautiful.

Jess says. " Grab his halter." I grab the blue one because it said his name. Then Jess says. " Now go open the stall door just enough for you to be able to get in and put the halter on, the longer part of the halter goes behind his ears." I open the stall door and put the longest part behind his ears and clip underneath his cheek. Jess says. " Then make the lead rope into figure eights." I do as I am told and lead him out. I put him right in front of Romeo and clip him like Romeo is clipped. Jess says " Hey Mady I want to keep a eye on the boys in the viewing room, do you mind teaching Luke how to tack up western?" Mady says. " Sure." Jess then says. " He will fit into Harvey's saddle and Trouble's bridle is in there too. Bye have fun!" She leaves.

Mady's POV.

I say. " Ok Luke if you will just follow me this way I will show you where Harvey's saddle is and then let you pick out a saddle pad, but try to pick one that matches your outfit." Luke said. " Alright lets go!" We walk into the tack room and I notice Alexa in there. I turn towards Luke and say. " Can you walk in there first?" He turn towards the tack room and notices Alexa. He looks at me and says. " Who is that?" I look back at him and then at Alexa. I say. " She is the most self centered person here, I think that she is jealous of me because I got Romeo adn she wanted him because he has won every show that he has entered. So can you just go in there first and I will be right after you?" He looks at me and then at Alexa and then back at me. He says, " Since you are apart of my family now I have to protect you, so obviously I will go before you." I look at him adn say " Thank you." He starts to walk towards the tack room and I follow after. As soon as Luke walks in she looks over at him and eyes him up and down. And he completely blows her off, he turns around to look at me and says. " Can you point to which one I will be using so I can pull it down. " I stiffle a laugh because Alexa is astounded. I go up adn point to the hornless one. She walks up to Luke as he pulls it down and pushes me out of the way. I fall over and hit my head and blacked out.

Lukes POV.
As I pull the saddle down Alexa pushes Mady out of the way and Mady fell over and now blacked out. I put the saddle down adn run over to Mady. Alexa says. " Hi I am Al-" I interupted her and said. " You made my friend black out and now her head is bleeding so thanks.'' I get my phone and hold Mady's head and try not to cry. I call Ashton. " Hello, Luke whats wrong?" he says as he puts me on speaker. I say. " Well me and Mady were heading to the tack room and this Alexa girl pushes Mady out of the way and Mady fell over and I think her head is cracked open again." Jess says " I am going to kill Alexa, don't worry Michael and Calum are calling the police and a ambulence. we are on our way back. Henry go get Mady." I hear Henry sniff Jess's shirt and come running towards us. He comes in, Jess just a few steps behind and he puts his back underneath her head to help support. Jess says. " Alexa will be taking care of Romeo while Mady is in the hospital." I just look at her adn laugh The EMT's come back here along with the police and Alexa was just standing there the whole time, they take her back and question her. The EMT's put her on a stretcher and Henry jumps up on it because he knows she will have anxiety. I follow the EMT's outside and they asked who would ride with her. Ashton says. " Why don't Luke and Calum go and me and Mike will follow.'' We all say ok. I go into the ambulence and the EMT's go do their thing with her. Calum starts to tear up. I look at him and give him a side hug and say. " Don't worry Cal, she will be fine, she is a trooper." He then says. " I hope so." We then get out adn she is rushed into the Er. Ash walks up to us and says. " Who was that girl that did that to her?" I look at him and say. " It was some Alexa chick, she is apparently jealous of her because Alexa wanted Romeo because he has won all the championships he has been in and she tried to talk to me but I blew her off because of the way she treats Mady." Ash's face chances from concerened to angry. He then says. " That is rediculous, she must really be that petty." A doctor comes out and asks for Mady's family. Ashton says. " That is us sir, is she ok?" The doctor looks very worried. " She has already had head trauma before and this just added on to it. I am afraid that she is in a coma." Ashton starts to cry. He looks up at the doctor and says. " What about her service dog?" He thinks for a moment. " He can come visit her but i am afraid he won't be able to stay with her the whole time." Ashton thinks. " Can we see her and get her service dog?" The doctor says yes. He leads us to her room. It's all the way in the back. My phone starts to go off and its Jess. " Hello?" I sasid. Jess says. "Hey luke, How is Mady?" I said. " Well she is in a coma." Jess pauses her breathing. She then says. " If Ashton wants to press charges against Alexa he can." I then say. " I highly doubt he will, he was angry when I told him about her though." Jess says." I would be too, the way she treats Mady is disgusting." I then say. " Wellwe are heading back to her room, can you please monitor Alexa when she takes care of Romeo, I am scared that she will take him away when Mady is in the hospital." Jess then sasy. " Absolutely. Bye." I say. Thank you. Bye" I then hang up and say to calum. " I think that you should take care of Henry, he likes you more then us." Calum sasy. " That is because I built up a relationship with him, you guys need to do the same." He said and laughed. Then next thing I know is Mady's blood pressure drops and they ask us to take Henry and get out of the room politely. Ashton says. " Why did Alexa have to be so petty?" I look at Ashton and sya. " Well she has a lot of money and she is used to getting whatever she wants whenever she wants." The doctor walks up to us and says. " She is doing better than before. '' And we leap of faith. Then the doctor looked worried. He says. " But there is bad news." Then we all look worried, Ash asks. " Whats wrong with her doctor?" He looked Ashton dead in the eyes. " I am afraid she has cancer." Michael starts tearing up. I start to tear up, then Ashton starts crying and Calum starts to tear up also. The doctor walks away. Then Ashton sits down and Henry lays on top of him. And then we all sit down to process what the doctor said.
