Bloody Beginnings

Right after the teleportation Chara attempted, all he could remember was searing pain and fear. Fear he didn't want to feel, especially since it was Frisk's fault. Or, should he say, Metta's fault. He didn't exactly know which one of the two human boys were controlling the body, but whoever was had Chara frozen in fear yet screaming in pain. Chara heard what he thought were footsteps but that was impossible. Everyone was killed and the human was ontop of him with their knife being pushed deeper and deeper into their stomach.

This was the end... but I don't want it to end! Not like this...!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" That sounded like Asriel.

Suddenly, Chara felt the human thrown off of him and something warm, furry, and friendly hug him gently. Since all Chara could see was red and black, he decided to cling onto this furry thing with all his willpower and strength, which wasn't a lot for he felt himself grow weaker by the minute. It didn't take long for the warm thing to hug him. Chara nuzzled into it.

It smelled like Asriel too...

"Are you okay huma- that is not Frisk..." Why did that sound like... me?!

"No but there are two Frisk's! There's that one on the snow and now there's the one we were with earlier behind you!" The Asriel-sounding voice responded as the arms around Chara tighten slightly. Slowly, Chara felt a tiny bit better, but he couldn't see and he still felt extremely weak.

"Well, whoever that is in yours arms is clearly in pain and dying. We have to take them to Dad," the Chara-sounding voice sounded frantic. "Frisk, call Asgore. Use my phone!"

Frisk? FRISK?! HA!!

Chara would've laughed if he wasn't so weak and got stabbed in the stomach. Frisk wouldn't do that. He was the one who stabbed Chara in the first place. But... the Asriel voice did say there were two Frisk's... maybe they meant the second one. Chara hoped they were a pacifist. But regards to whatever was going on, Chara soon couldn't keep conscious and passed out in the warm, furry arms.

He immediately regretted it after feeling a sharp burning pain in his stomach. He groaned in pain as he moved his left hand to his stomach.... or tried to, at least. No matter what he did, Chara couldn't move his left arm. In fact, he couldn't even feel it there.

"Ah, they're awake Dad," it was the Chara-sounding voice that spoke. It was also the one that shouted at him earlier.

"How long was I out...?" Chara spoke, his voice sounding worse than he had imagined. A giant pause overtook the area, making Chara nervous and extremely scared.

Why can't I see? Where's my arm? Who are these people and why does that one person sound like me?

"What's your name?" This voice sounded like Toriel's.

"C-Chara... why?" Chara asked.

"Ohh holy hyperdeath..." The Asriel-sounding voice whispered loudly.

"Chara? As in Chara Dreemurr?" The Chara-sounding voice questioned.

"Yes I'm Chara Dreemurr!" Chara was feeling scared and impatient. "Who are you guys, where's my arm, why can't I see, and why do you all sound so familiar?!" While it was useless, Chara felt his head turning left and right and left and right, hoping that he was just being delusional. Silence overtook whatever area they were in again. Chara could sense their presence. Surprisingly he felt comforted for their presence felt... familiar in a way.

"My child, was your mother Toriel?" The Toriel-sounding voice asked.

"Yes, she was. My father was Asgore and my brother was Asriel, but that doesn't matter. They're dead!" Chara spat out the last part of his sentence. He hoped his Frisk could hear him. Instead of hearing silence, this time Chara heard  one of the people's breath shorten for a few moments before returning to normal.

"Chara, sweetie, I don't know what's going on but I am... Toriel, actually!" The Toriel-sounding voice spoke. "I'm currently with Asgore, Asriel, MY Chara, and OUR Frisk."

"Wh... What do you mean?" Chara questioned.

"I have a slight idea," the other Chara responded. "You traveled across timelines and ended up in ours. While your timeline seemed to have been quite the Genocide Run, ours is quite Pacifist. No one has died since we have captured the other Frisk with some... difficulties."

"We have their soul to King Sans. He's going to break the barrier!" Asriel spoke. Chara couldn't believe what he was hearing. He teleported into another PACIFIST timeline where his Frisk was killed and now their barrier was going to be destroyed? Chara would've been overreliefed if it was to for a few things.

"Why can't  I see and where's my arm?" Chara asked again. The room went silent.

"My child," Asgore's voice finally spoke. "I'm afraid I had to remove your arm for you to live. Your stomach will be fine over a few months, maybe by the end of this year, but I'm afraid your sight will be gone forever."

"So I'm BLIND?!" Chara hollered. He didn't want to be blind, especially after learning that his family was in front of him, that the barrier was broken, that he could live a life full of peace.

"I'm afraid so," Asgore responded.

Chara couldn't remember much after that. He remembered screaming and hollering and sobbing. He remembered feeling a bunch of furry and warm hugs on him. He remembers that eventually, after god knows how long, he finally calmed down after Asriel basically cuddled him to death. Chara couldn't remember when he fell asleep, or why.
